Comments: 13 fishing is taking over rod building. I bought the omen just to see if they were worth all the hype for a 100 dollar rod. I must say i would have been fine fishing all omens the rest of my life. Unbeleivable balance and sensitivity. Then i bought the envy and now im selling everything off. Only rods ill use just hope they give a better option for cranking. But the envy or omen theres both just rediculous. Awsome company thanks 13

Comments: Im a Dobyns guys, always have been, though i always would be, well, after reading all the positive reviews on these, i needed another rod, and thought, you know what im gonna try one. my favorite dobyns rod is the 744 split grip. the 13 ENVY rod 7'3 MH is pretty uch same exact specs as the 744. took it out for te first time last week, and it really really suprised me at how well this rod performed. Almost couldnt tell a difference between it and the 744, except for the handle. the balance might even be a tad better, sensetivity is just as good if not better, weighs about the same, i love the recoil guides, overall this is an excellent rod, very comparable and on par with some of the best rods out there, for way less $$. its a keeper in my book.

Comments: just bought a 7'6'' H-XF envy rod/ feels ligther than the stcroix tourny 7'6'' mh-mf and gl2 7'5'' H-F, once snow melts here in minnesota and bass season starts, will submit another review on its performances...
From: Bassaddict: MN
Comments: Based off the reviews from Tim form TX. and Blake from AL. i decided to pull the trigger and go for the 7'3 MH, I've been fishing it all week, ive had this rod and a dobyns champion extreme 744 on deck this week and thats it. the dobyns is a standard setting rod of very high quality, and to be honest, one of my favorite rods of all time. these 2 rods feature almost the EXACT same specs. Straight up, the 13 envy rod out performs the dobyns. better tip, about same backbone, by far more comfortable handle, and sensitivity is higher. if your looking for one rod that can literally do anything ( I fished jigs, football heads, c-rigs, t-rigs, spinnerbaits) this rod is it. Like others said, JUST BUY IT. 7'3 MH is the new standard in my world.

Comments: Just Buy it, 7'3 MH, youll be set and i gurantee you'll change you rods over to 13 fishing's envy line of rods. simply amazed at the quality sensitivity and power. the tip guide looks to have an insert on it. very comparable to glx and champion extremes. sensitivity of a nrx thats for sure.

Comments: This rod is incredible. I got one after my partner raved on about how sensitive his was, and he wasnt exaggerating. This thing looks great and fishes awesome. I have a few now but i would go 7'3" medium heavy if you are looking to try one out. I think this is the best all purpose rod i have ever used, i also have a 7'1" medium and a 7'3" heavy equally as good just not as all purpose as the mh. I like the recoil guides but they are a love em or hate em kind of thing.
From: Blake: AL
Comments: I have never settled on a rod brand because I struggled to find that balance of performance, value, price, quality, feel etc. At the recommendation of friend I got the 7'11" and this thing is the real deal. I won't even say it is good for the price. It just a great rod period. I am in the process of switching all my rids to the Envy series. Great product.

Comments: These rods are in the same boat as a loomis glx/nrx or a dobyns champion extreme. VERy VERY nice rods here. the tapers are perfect. a nice tip that transtations fast into a STRONG butt. Just soo sensitive. i know a factor for some people are the recoil guides, but 13 is coming out with a new guide system for these rods here shortly, so well have to see how these rods are then. but man for $250, you getting one hellva rod that is like i said worth way more than its price. ive fished my fair share of glx.nrx rods and champion extremes, even st croix legend extremes, and this rod is right on par with them. rods im talking abot is 7'1 & 7'3MH and 7'6H

Comments: Thanks guys for the reviews really needed it. Guess this bad boy is coming home....

Comments: to peter, yes, these rods are incredible, get a 7,6 heavy and you can drag 15lbs of slop like its nothing. seriously best rods ive used the Mh are pretty stiff with excellent tip, so for slop a h would be perfect! if your not sure, try a omen rod, there pretty damn good to but only a $100
From: David: WA
Comments: Worth every bit of $250.00! These are the best flipping sticks I have ever held. Super sensative. They are just awesome. I just purchased 2 more. I have to sell rods now so I can buy more of these.
From: Traybird: Bridge City, TX
Comments: Was just wondering is the rod really worth $250. I do alot of slop fishing and was wonderin if the rod will hold up to the nasty covers.
From: Peter
Comments: to Max in chicago, well i have the omen rod($100) and it is more sensitive and and lighter than my g loomis gl2 rod, which cost $200, and these envy rods have 40 ton graphite so thats even lighter and more sensitive than the 30 ton of the omen rods, i just ordered the 7'3" envy casting rod, MH so once i get out and use it, ill post a review, but for now i hope this helps. BTW, the omen rods are VERY nice for there price, very well balanced and awesome looks and feel in your hands, i highly recommend 13 fishing.

Comments: How sensitive are these rods any comparisons IMX- DOBYNS - CHAMPION ST-CROIX LEGEND,ECT.
From: Max: Chicago, IL
Comments: how sensitive & light are these rods
From: Max: Chicago, IL
Comments: The new Envy lineups are very impressive rods. . . Just a bit lighter and with the 40ton graphite, a bit stiffer overall profile. The recoil guides are awesome and the reel seat is super comfortable to flip with all day. . . The Medium Heavys are stiff and the Heavys are for the nasty stuff or the big girls! Anything with trebles or moving action, go with the medium actions. . . Give 13 a try!!!
