Comments:  I purchased the Omen 7'2 MF as my fourth rod setup. I have my Omen paired with a Shimano CI4 2500. My first three setups are the Envy's. I have also own several St. Croix rods around the same price range. If you are looking at staying around the $100 price range then the Omen is the way to go. 13 Fishing rods are one of the most comfortable rods in your hands. This rod is super light and very sensitive. I really love my Envys but I find myself picking up my Omen more and more each trip.

Comments: I've got this last year and so far its okay. I bought a 7'7" inshore rode for striper fishing and sand bass. Very strong back bone and the extra length can make it cast far and the reel I paired up with is the 4000 shimano saros, the only complaint I have is that the seat kinda sucks because it gets wobbly every time I turn the handle. It seems like the glue that they put on doesn't really stick and the cork seems to pop up out of place. I had to cut some cork access to make my reel fit in perfectly. Ill probably won't purchase another omen again and maybe just stick with St. Croix for spinning.

Comments: I purchases the 7'2 ML on the advice from Matt at 13, I was looking for a all-a-round rod suited for my travels and he suggested that model. I am so glad I listened to him! So far this rod has taken everything from largies to over slot Snook! Have it rigged with a 3000 stradic w/ 10lb braid and couldn't be happier. Hands down the most sensitive rod in my arsenal, even a has an edge on my IMX. Still has enough backbone to turn those 35"+ Snook around!
