22nd Century Triple Trout Cut Tail - $74.99 to $79.99
Designed for dead-sticking on the surface and attracting strikes from huge bass, the 22nd Century Triple Trout Cut Tail is the perfect bait for those times when bass aren't aggressively chasing baitfish. The floating version of the Cut tail is perfect for waking along the water's surface. Featuring an additional hinge at the tail, compared to the standard Triple Trout, the extra hinge, or cut tail design, adds more action to the bait, while also creating additional fish-calling noise. Even on a steady retrieve, the extra hinge of the 22nd Century Triple Trout Cut Tail generates an exaggerated Triple Trout action that has also proven deadly for unsuspecting bass.

Comments: On the fence like I was about getting this or a daiwa dx swimbait rod? Get this like I did. My buddy got the daiwa & this one out performs everytime. Great rod.

Comments: Not my first triple trout, but my first cut tail. This cut tail stays more true on a burning retrieve than the regular TT. Some times the regular TT swims upside down on a fast burning retrieve. Got the 10" and upgraded to owner 2/0 stingers and #6 70lb hyperwires and now it doesn't float as good and suspends/super slowsink instead. Creates awesome wake with stock hooks/rings.

Comments: Awesome floating bait for a stop and go retrieve. The bass seem to really get on this bait right after they finish spawning. I like to throw it close to cover, really fast reel to get the tail to sling water, then stop & pause, repeat to the boat. Caught plenty of fish in the 2-6lb range on the 8".
