Comments: I don't get the bad reviews for this rod I bought the 7'6 heavy rod for all my pitching and flipping I paired it with a revolution rocket and 30lb floro I fish at least 4 times a week and this set up is with me every time... if caught multiple three and four lb bass and a couple close to five and have never had a problem and even tho the bass don't get huge up north every once in awhile you will make a pitch and a big pike will eat your bait I got a seven lber the other day and it took me a while to get it in the boat and it held up great... I kayak fish a lot and am not easy on my gear and this rod has held up great I haven't had any issues with the guides it's my favorite set up

Comments: I bought the 7' MH-Fast for a texas rigged plastics rod & it works excellent for that. Then one day I decided to rig it up for chatterbaits & man does this rod shine for that application. What an excellent rod and it's a joy to throw.
From: Seth: Pittsburgh, PA 7/9/15
Comments: I got the 7'9" heavy about 4 months ago, and it was a good rod at first, then the eyes started to fray my line, and today i was fishing a spinnerbait on it and when i casted the rod snapped completely in half. Not the first time I've had bad abu products. will never buy abu products again.
From: Drake: Newnan, GA 6/17/15
Comments: The eye inserts are way too soft. After a couple of weeks fishing this rod the eye inserts started to scratch my line very badly due to the indentions the line was creating in the inserts. I wasn't using braid either, just fishing line around 10-12lbs...
From: Buddy: Tuscaloosa, AL 4/8/15
Comments: This rod is very light and sensitive. But I have to say it is an extremely stiff rod. I have the 7ft MH and it is more like a Heavy action rod. Not much tip at all which makes it difficult to pitch plastics with the same accuracy as a rod with a softer tip. Overall its a good rod though.

Comments: Amazing rod! The rod is very sensitive and has a great light feel in your hand. Great rod for the price!
From: Quinn: KS 12/23/14
Comments: the guides break really easy Abu Garcia should go with a different set of guides IMO I've had 3 of these rods and all three have had eyes break on them sent the first one back after a month I got a new one the guide broke on it for 150 bucks I won't get anymore

Comments: I have the 7'3" MH, 7'9" H and the 7'6" MH-M Winch models. These rods are amazing. 7'3" is my go to jig rod. I use it to swim jigs and large football jigs in deep water. The rods is strong and the tip is perfect. The 7'9" is a great swimbait rod for the money. I use it for large swimbiat and i also flip heavy jigs. It is so light and strong. The 7'6" MH-M Winch is the best crankbait rod I have used. I recently caught a 15# stripe and I was amazed at how strong this rod was. It is very light and perfect for all day cranking

Comments: I have the 7'3 MH and have used it now on 5 trips. Performs well in tough conditions, strong, light weight and sensitive. One thing i have to say is that this is alittle on the stiffer side. I've used multiple MH rods and this is by far the stiffiest one I've used. Overall I enjoy fishing with it.

From: Bryce: San Jose, IL 6/28/14
Comments: bought the 7'6" MH from another store and had the rod break a foot and a half from the tip, luckily i bought the warranty with it and i got my money back. loved the rod before it broke and i believe it was a defect seeing it was the second time i had used it. will buy again.

Comments: Got this rod for Christmas, in a 7'3" MH and the rod is super sensitive and is light. Can cast a half oz jig 60 yards, the guides are very sturdy and the titanium guides are great with fluorocarbon and braid
From: Trenton: IL

From: Hunter: Ocala, FL
Comments: This rod is awesome! Amazing sensitivity very light and feels great in your hand. My only concern is the eyes seem a little weak but so far they are holding up fine. Great Job
From: Jimmy Crack Corn
Comments: Love this rod. Palaniuk knew what he was doing when making these. A little on the stiffer side but sensitive. Have the 7' and 7'3 both paired with a revo stx with braid and fluoro.
