Perfect for applications when power is essential, the Abu Garcia Veritas 2.0 Winch Casting Rods deliver heavy duty performance at a great price.
Comments: Used it 3x so far and, with the limited time, I'm impressed. Haven't hooked up to a monster yet but of the 20+ bass I have hooked up with only one got unbuttoned and that was probably a small dink anyways. Been a solid rod so far and happy with it.

Comments: I bought the 7 M winch cranking rod. I will agree with the wired to fish review. This rod is the real deal, its really limber which allows it to load up and fling a 1.5 almost out of sight. Stick a 3/8 or 1/2 lipless and sling it to outer space. I love the flat butt so when I have to to my ribs its really comfy and dont dig while I am fighting a fish. I like to sweep the rod to the side for a hook set and with this flat butt it just feels right. Dont let the limper tip fool you it gives way to a solid back bone. I caught a 4lb in some flooded timber on 20 lb fluro and I horsed it through no worries. I had the first version of the Veritas and I hated it to stiff to brittle. I can say this ones action is dead on and I have tested it before starting the tournaments with it and its sturdy. I like it so much I bought the 7'6 winch and the XH winch. I also bought a 7'3 Micro to experiment with the regular casting series with T-rigs and jigs.
