Abu Garcia Volatile Casting Rods - $99.99 to $139.99
Whether you are targeting huge, trophy bass, inshore species like redfish, sea trout and stripers, or larger freshwater species like muskie, the Abu Garcia Volatile Casting Rods come equipped with hefty actions perfectly suited for these applications, and the same high performance Nano Technology utilized in the Veritas series. Abu Garcia’s Nano Technology manipulates graphite on an atomic level for 2.5 times the impact resistance of standard graphite rods, and the wall of the rod blanks also also thicker for added backbone, strength and durability. Now you can count on your rod to stand up to nicks and dings that make other rods snap under pressure.
The 30-ton rating on the Volatile Series also indicates a superior grade of graphite. The result is a lighter rod with increased sensitivity. The higher the tonnage, the stiffer the fibers used in the construction of the rod. Stiffer fibers more efficiently transmit vibrations to your hand so you can feel more strikes. Also equipped with premium Pac Bay guides with SiC inserts for increased casting distance and durability, Fuji ACS reel seats and high density EVA handles deliver lightweight all day comfort. Rest assured - the Abu Garcia Volatile Casting Rods have the power, strength and sensitivity to lure and handle big fish.

Comments: This rod is great. I've caught everything from flounder, stingray, bass, and catfish with this rod. that's a pretty good variety. this paired up with an Abu Garcia Orra Inshore is a killer combo but I'm sure it would be better with the Revo Inshore. Only flaw is that the handle looks cheaply made.

Comments: BEEF! STICK! So I have the 8' Heavy. Originally I bought this rod to experiment with punchn' with a heavier rod to man handle fish out of the mat hyacinth and mat. It works but its a bit heavy to be flipn with like that all day. (again it was an experiment) However, in doing so it was quite sensitive and every fish Ive caught came out of the mess i was fishing with ease. But this rod is definitely great for chucking those heavy swimbaits like an 8in BBZ or anything else in a ridiculous size and weight. If you've ever fished with the Veritas consider this its older brother on steroids. Stiffest rod Ive ever owned

Comments: Got the Shimano Chronarch 50e on my volatile 6'9. This rod is super comfortable and light. I use this combo for wade fishing the flats in Texas saltwaters. Hook a nice 15lb redfish with 20lb power pro on this rod and handle it great. Very pleased with my med light combo.

Comments: Would just like to say I got this rod from a friend and my very first fish was a snook of over 15lbs and 37 inches long. The rod worked great handled that fish no problem at all. Love the rod have it paired with a ABU-GARCIA REVO WINCH60 with 40 lb braid. We are fishing around structure, bridge and dock pilings and it is the perfect setup

Comments: I have the 8' MH, what a great rod. SIC guides are great, Fuji reel seat. LOTS of backbone to rip calicos of out the water. Paired it with a revo toro nacl. Couldn't ask for a better set up.

Comments: This rod is amazing! just amazing! its really light helps me cast far, the only problem I don't like is the butt of the rod its too cheap they should of put some round foam butt but then again it would probably make the rod not as light. But its really light and I paired it with my abu g. inshore reel and its just phenomena and electrifying fun casting out on the surf I wanna get another one for different bait so I don't have to keep retying. Totally recommend ! and be careful with the butt of the rod though.
Comments: I have this rod with the revo inshore gen 3 and it's my favorite combo I have. I put super slick braid and it can cast a mile. I definitly would recomend this to anyone.
