Comments: They work, but after a few fish the wire becomes loose in the head. I've had 3 now that have done the same thing.

Comments: My favorite buzz. It sounds like a old buzz bait right out of the package. I like a swimbait trailer on and it looks great and works great on back. A lot of buzzbaits you need to go through 3 or 4 to get the right sound and feel this one has that.

Comments: I bought 2 of these things and they run like crap. Both lay on their side at any speed. I fish a buzzbait a lot and know how to tune one. Not these. Don't waste your money.

Comments: I was one of first to review this buzz bait and it is still my favorite bait of its kind. However, the new packaging presents me a problem. Now, in order to fish the bait with a toad or with a skirt, the skirt is provided separate in the the package. I understand this concept, but with the nature of the bait keeper and the collar, it is virtually impossible to get the skirt on fully intact. The skirt comes with a really nice double band, but you can, negotiate it, in one piece onto the bait. Personally, the reason I went to this bait is it allows me to fish with a skirt and a trailer.

Comments: Excellent buzzbait. Hook extends away from the head enough so that hookups are guaranteed. Bait works best with a trailer and as stated has a keeper which is unusual. I was worried about casting distance when I saw the 5/16 size, but with a trailer it casts like a dream and is just the right weight to be accurate and somewhat quiet in your presentation. Recommend the small Biffle Bug as a trailer as Wheeler has demonstrated.

Comments: This thing is MONEY. Well not actual money but it has won quite a bit of money for me! I have been a buzzbait fanatic since I was young and I never really found one that came out of the package without spending a couple of days of tunning to get the right sound. But ole Wheeler did a great job on this sucker. I've had 3 straight out of the package that were completely perfect. As long as they keep making them, I'll keep buying them.

Comments: Had a lot of trouble tuning this straight out of the pack. Had to add some weight to it to keep it from laying on its side. However, it seems to be made with quality components. The hook is pretty sharp and the blade has good sound to it.

Comments: Awesome buzz bait. Great bait if you like to use a trailer. There is a barb that keep your trailer in place. I use a 3.5 white swimbait and it lasts forever. With the trailer the barely bait runs on the surface, not real noisy. Fish seem to love it. Caught a 9 lber on the Delta with it.

Comments: This is a great buzzbait. I have caught many fish on it. The blade squeaks really nice and the bass cant stand it. You can also put a soft plastic on the back of it.Really nice overall

Comments: The right weight, the right size blade, the right gap between the hook point and the blade wire, the right squeak; however, this buzzer is about torn up after the 5th or 6th fish. The wire hollows out the lead head creating a real sloppy and lose bait. This is a really good buzzer just be prepared for it to show a lot of wear and tear early on.
