The Co-MATRiX 457 provides a well balanced combination of power, sensitivity and performance in one award winning series of rods. Truely innovative, each Co-MATRiX rod evolves from the integration of two separate and distinctively different manufacturing processes. Filament winding, which is used in the lower section of the rod to provide maximim hook set and castability and Airrus's proprietary Multi Modulus tip section, designed to provide the ultimate combination of lure presentation, rod control and sensitivity. Also featured on each Co-MATRiX rod is Airrus's superbly designed "Comfort Grip" which combines Hypalon and high quality Portuguese cork into what has been said to be the most comfortable grip ever to grace a fishing rod. A removeable Nylon cap allows weight to be added to the butt for precise balancing to ones personal specifications. Sensitivity is kicked up a notch through the use of Fuji Hardloy guides at "Concept" spacing. Add a Fuji ECSM graphite filled Nylon 6 reel seat and you have a rod to be reckoned with by any fish that swims.

Comments:I have 1 of these rods and really liked it until I noticed after some use the eye and guides are not hard enough, line will score them. Also the hook placement holder is in a horrible place, the line will hang up every now and then, more now than then if these problems are corrected I would purchase more rods.

Comments:I have over 35 rods in my fishing arsenal. All the top rods starting with Loomis and going down the list. I have never had a rod that felt so good and had the perfect action. It is your co-matrix 457.(6ft 3in casting rod) I used it one time and was so taken I went back a week later and bought a 6ft 6in model just like it. It feels as good as my Shimano Cumara and at half the price. I am impressed. I use it for spinner baits, crank baits, frogs and whatever else I am throwing. I am going to sell one of my Loomis rods to a friend and go buy two of the spinning rods. excellent rods!
