The All Star ASR Casting Rods are designed and crafted with technique specific lengths and actions for various applications. Featuring IM-10 multi-modulus graphite blanks, the ASR Casting Rods are lightweight and extremely sensitive. Each blank is also splined by hand to locate the backbone for the correct and exact placement of the guides. This allows the rod to load and flex properly without "rolling over," ensuring the full action and strength of the rod is being maximized. The Fuji Alconite Guides compliment the sensitivity and strength of the rod blank and Alconite provides a rare combination of strength and durability in addition to being extremely lightweight. Also assisting with sensitivity and performance, the Total Touch reel seat allows the angler's hand to remain in constant contact with the rod blank, making it easier to feel any movement of the rod tip.

The Split-Grip handle design provides excellent balance when paired with most casting reels, as well as, contributing further to the sensitivity of the rod. Additionally, the premium Cork Grips furnish all-day comfort and the Quick Release Hook Keeper provides additional convenience. Extremely sensitive with their IM-10 graphite construction, the All Star ASR Casting Rods provide high-caliber features and components for a very reasonable price.

Comments: Don't waste your money - these rods snap easily.  I ordered the 7'4" MH "Swimbait" model & it snapped the first time under a load (snapped during hookset).  I sent the rod back (paid shipping & a $9.50 warranty fee) & received a replacement rod.  Once again, the replacement rod snapped the first time under a normal rod load.

Comments:  I didn't purchase mine from TW, but I felt inclined to leave a review here all the same.  These rods are excellent!  I went into my local tackle dealer in hopes of picking up another St. Croix mojo but to my dismay they were sold out of all of the casting rods.  I was then pointed to one of these in the flavor I was looking for; 6'6 MH-F 'Wormin' Rod'. I paired it with an Orra SX reel and took it out that evening and threw nothing but senkos with it.  It handled all 6 fish well, 2 of which were nearly 5 pounds.  Very light rod and very sensitive!!!  I'll definitely be adding more of these to my aresenal!

Comments: I have the 7 foot medium cranking model, and this thing paired with a revo s can straight up chunk a smaller crankbait.

Comments: With the exception of St. Croix, there is not a stronger rod made than All Star. IM 10 is, to my knowledge, the highest graphite IM series available. For the money, get this/ these rods. When you hit a fish, she's stuck. Excellent product. I own 3 of them.

Comments: great rods!, i have the spinnerbait and topwater and love them. they are every bit as good as $200+ rods i won.

Comments: great quality of a $180 rod. i only have the 7"4 mh says for swimbaits. it has plenty of backbone to throw a frog, and enough tip to throw a heavier weighted worm in which i swim them. planning on get the other rods.

Comments: I purchased the frog/jig casting rod.  I have used it for one season and have caught about 12 bass on a hollow-bodied frog with braided line.  My only complaint is that is seems that All-Star did not apply very much rod wrapping finish over the guide foot threads.  Nothing is loose.....yet?  Would I buy the same rod again?  No.

Comments: I have two of these rods, the MH 7'2" jig rod, the M-Moderate 7'2" topwater rod which I actually use with my cranks and I love them. They take some serious abuse, as I tend to beat on my rods so I try not to go too expensive and these have held up tremendously. I've caught thousands of fish on both rods, with no problems. Great sensitivity and action is true, durable for a low price. Trigger grip and handle length are ideal for leverage, no complaints.

Comments: I had a buddy give me one of his and wow! ive got the spinnerbait and wormin rods and i plan on replacing all my rods to this one brand and series i just cant say enough good stuff about these rods.

Comments:These rods really impressed me!! I've always loved the team series rods that all star makes and will probably never stop using them, but these rods are worth the extra 20 it takes to get them. They are SUPER light and extremely sensitive and very well built. I got the frog/jig rod and it handles jigs, spinners, buzzers, t- rigs and c-rigs easily and an effectively.
