Comments: Bought this reel a couple of years ago and after a lot of use, I am not a huge fan. I don't know if it is merely that I got a lemon, but it simply malfunctions at the worst of times. On many attempted hooksets, my bail will open without any provocation from myself. I have tried seeing if the spring inside the bail arm was moved out of place and whether there were any other issues, with none to be found. It feels like a much cheaper reel to me.

Comments: I'll be honest, I'm not a real finesse enthusiast, so I opted for a lesser expensive spinning reel. My boat is black and red SO thus, I bought the Ardent finesse reel.
This reel is extremely smooth, durable and castable. Zero grinding, zero mechanical issues. It's light and looks really good. I plan on upgrading to the bolt and/or C-Force as well, they can only be better!
I am a braid to leader type of guy, so I got the 2000 series. This really is a slick reel.

Comments: I love it !!! Super smooth drag and casting is out of this world. Try Gliss 18lb test and watch your lures fly.
