Built with nothing but the best components, the Asakura Swim Jig is a Coosa River style jig with a streamlined, bullet-shaped head perfect for fishing through thick vegetation.  Super strong Mustad Ultra Point hooks deliver rock-solid hooksets, and a 44-strand, 100% silicone skirt gives the Asakura Swim Jig a slightly larger profile.  Ideal for stained or dirty water or those times when bass are feeding on larger shad, bream or crawfish, the Asakura Swim Jig also features a large, upward pointing, molded-in trailer keeper, 3D eyes, and a custom-bonded weedguard. It’s also available in several of the most cutting-edge color patterns around.

The newly redesigned head on the Asakura baits swim jig eliminates all of the previous weedguard issues.

Comments:  Great swim jig.  I swear I thought the weed guard issue was fixed.  Maybe I got the last of it?

Comments: weed guard issues, but so detailed skirts and heads, would be the perfect swim jig if they corrected the weedguard

Comments: I use these swim jigs throughout the summer and fall last year. They are a big reason for some of my top finishes in the FLW and other open Tournaments. The weedgaurd has been a slight  issue but the head has been redesigned to correct the problem. The weedguard hole where it is attached has been deepened and secured to ensure the guards attachement. The eyes have also been set in just a little. They are definetly the top jigs on the market. Overall the quality of this jig is second to none! I would recommend this jig to anyone.

Comments: I fished the Asakura Swim Jigs Aug 13-14,2010 at Coyote Lake. We landed 20+ bass. They are very versatile and hold up to all the conditions we threw them in. Great jig for a great price.
