Overview
Designed by flipping master and Elite Series pro, Gary Klein, the BOSS Gary Klein’s Original Flipping Jig features an innovative head shape that revolutionized the technique of flipping when it was first released 30 years ago. Still as productive now as it was then, it is engineered with a precise oval shape that is built to rotate when you set the hook, resulting in a high percentage of upper-mouth piercings and giving anglers the leverage necessary to yank bass out of heavy cover.
A flat-eye line-tie and a premium weedguard that allows it to move in-and-out of heavy cover with ease, and the BOSS Gary Klein’s Original Flipping Jig also features a skirt keeper cone and a baitkeeper barb that will lock your favorite flipping baits in place. Armed with a Mustad Ultra Point Hook, the BOSS Gary Klein’s Original Flipping Jig is a proven performer that continues to yield results at the highest levels of bass fishing.

Comments: Great Jig for flipping! Good head design. The description is just right too as about 85% of my hooks are in the upper mouth! I pair with my own homemade skirts and flip away. The hooks could be a little stronger I have bent one before but it was in some cover I really shouldn't of been using it in. The paint last a good while too. It will chip after a little bit I flip a lot of docks that are lined with rip rap so I wear paint off a little faster. But I can go a whole day or two with the same jig and not beat paint off of it. And I've used others that paint starts chipping after about a half day! Good jig, good price, even better deal! Flip like a BOSS!

Comments: Great jig head. Been using this exact one now for a few years and honestly they are one of the best I've ever tied on. For the price, you cant br beat. The weed guards and hooks hold up to multiple fish and abuse and the paint last remarkably well. 9/10 for me. Highly recommend.

Comments: flipped the 1/2 original jig with 65 braid in the wood and I noticed i did not get hung up on wood and laydowns as bad as my other similar style jigs. I did snag some pine tree root systems but those wreak havoc on most jigs. Otherwise if i was flippin it on 20 lb flouro i think i wouldnt have flexed the hook out like I did on one fish up close on a hard hookset.
