A deadly way to target suspending bass, stripers and other gamefish feeding on baitfish, the BOSS Silicone Head Compact Swimbait Harness Rig is designed to actually simulate a school of baitfish. Often referred to as an umbrella-rig, it provides you with the potential of catching a limit with a single cast, and it can even be fished with a stouter, standard rod. Shrink wrap covers the crimped wires below the eyelet, and it features five durable wires with swivels that allow you to easily attach your choice of swimbaits, grubs, spinnerbaits or jigs. All four encompassing wires measure 3.5" while the fifth centering wire extends to 4". The Silicone Head Compact Swimbait Harness Rig is multifunctional. Slide the lifelike/durable silicone head towards the line tie when in use. Retract the silicone head to collapse all 5 wires for easy storage.
**Don't forget to check your State's fish and game rules and regulations - a fully rigged umbrella rig is illegal in some States.

Comments: I bought a few of these to throw in shallow water. I ended up using them on deep water as well, when the bite was slow. They can't handle alot 3-4+ pound bass. I went through 3 of them in 2 weekends. I never lost a fish, but once in the boat the wire would fall out. Thay are half price compared to others that are the same size, so I still use them. The compact nature is great in some situations, but you might go through a few in the process.

Comments: This rig is very small. The wires are very short and thin. I would consider this rig a finese or ultralight umbrella rig. This one is nothing like the other Boss compact all wire rig. The other compact all wire rig is much sturdier built. This one is only suitable for small swimbaits or jigs. It would probably be good for crappie only. Also, since it is so small the head looks unusually large on such a small wire frame. I took the head off and replaced it with a small tube jig. Looks much better. I would not recommend it for bass. Would be good for small fish only.
