Topic 1: Small Swimbaits - Many anglers hear the word "swimbait" and they assume that the speaker is referring to the tennis shoe sized monstrosities from California, but the same characteristics that make the big ones great also translate into much smaller models. Ott DeFoe has caught fish on smaller swimbaits - both "tournament sized" versions and finesse models - from coast to coast. He's developed a system for their use that any angler can apply to any water, whether double digit bass exist there or not.

Topic 2: Fish a Jig all Year - A jig works just about anywhere, at any time, in any kind of cover, but many anglers willingly put them down in favor of other lures. You can increase your success with jigs by adapting seasonally and applying the right model, under the right circumstance, with the proper tackle, and in doing so you'll increase your catch rate substantially.
