Comments: Got these at a shop on a whim after losing my normal go-to jig. This is more of a finesse football jig with its lighter hook and smaller profile. Perfect for winter fishing in the warmer states. My son and I both caught our PBs on it today. Felt the bottom the whole way and hookset was very easy.

From: Ian: San Fernando, CA 12/27/20

Comments: Great jig, for its price i am amazed. The skirt on the jig is really nice and the hook is really nice. For this jigs trailer I like to use the flappin hog by Gary Yamamoto.

From: Manny: 11/16/20

Comments: Great skirt, amazing jig head shape, but I'm suggesting not to get it.  It's not total trash, but the bait keeper on this thing is absolutely pitiful!  I lost numerous trailers on this boy.  The hook ain't that strong either.  Fished on a Abu Gracia Black Max3 baitcast reel, 30 pound monofilament Power Pole, and on a Ugly Stik baitcast rod, I bent the hook!  I snagged a log and being financially restricted, I really didn't want to lose it.  So, I yanked it and out it came, only to see the hook bent. Oh, the weed guard fell out too.

From: Will: Birmingham 8/30/18

Comments: Super high quality bait. Holds trailers on very well.

From: Unknown 5/2/18

Comments: Decent jig for the money. Great hook and skirt with great "flair" action. My only complaint is the bait keeper is horrible. The bait keeper does not keep any trailers on the jig very long.

From: Unknown: 6/18/17

Comments: This jig is asome it is very sleek and produces finicky fish it is by far my favorite jig

From: Luke: Utah 1/8/17

Comments: Love fishing the brown red craw pattern in 3/8 with a 3in new penny shrimp in for spotties. They absolutely can't resist!  I trim the skirt to about 2-2 1/4in and edge it out to make the skirt flare and remove a few strands of the weed guard and trim it at the tip of the guard in a slight angle for best results! The short shank hooks  makes this an excellent compact bait, highly recommend this jig especially for the price.

From: Anahiem, CA 9/10/14

Comments: Absolutely the best football jig for the money, they're all I buy now! They are smaller profile than most other football jigs but the hook is super strong and you don't have to worry about the hook bending out if your using a medium heavy or even a heavy power rod.

From: Jared: MN 9/7/14

Comments: Never noticed the weed guards. I always thin them and fan them out. The hook has never been a problem for me here in Az. Lighter line and the right rod it works perfect. Now if you are using 25lb line around a lot of wood.. You are fishing the wrong jig. These are finesse western style jigs. Off shore structure pints and humps are the perfected for these. Put your favorite trailer on and go to work.

From: Cookie: AZ

Comments: Fantastic jig for the money! It's become my #1 bass lure (paired with your favorite craw trailer). The hook is smaller than most jigs, but I haven't lost any fish that I felt were hook issues. The weed guard is ideal for me too; it's strong enough to push through cover but flexible enough to allow important hook sets. The skirt has held up through countless fish. Looking forward to adding several of these to my tackle box.

From: Adam: Orange County, CA

Comments: for those of you who gives this jig a bad review...please stop buying them so that I can buy them for myself.  Money maker for me.

From: Delta; CA

Comments: Did some work with these today in PB&J with a paca chunk in watermelon jelly

From: Dylan: CA

Comments: Love these jigs! Caught 15 bass during a night tournament this past summer on the 1/2 oz brown colored jig with a 3" chigger craw as a trailer. As some of the other reviews have indicated, the hooks on these jigs are a bit small, but i personally have not had any issues with failed hook sets with these jigs.

From: Bass fanatic: Phoenix, AZ

Comments: Got this with my TackleWarehouse order with a few other jigs. The hook is alot smaller than what I expected comparing it to the Strike King Jigs I received. Also, when I got them out of the packaging, the weed guards were slanted and while I rigged it with a Paca Chuck, about all the weed guards came right off. I give this a 2.5/5

Comments: I just got some & they look good, but are going back the next time I'm sending something else back for them to ride with... One dude said to hit the hook with a file, I didn't check the sharpness myself, but I do recommend hitting them with a magic wand to reverse the effects of the last spell someone zapped them with when they shrunk the hook down to itty bitty size... I hear you guys that are successful with this jig, but that hook is smaller than any finesse jig hook I have. Just doesn't inspire confidence with hook sets for me.

From: MidwestBassGuy: Gardner, KS

Comments: awesome jig. and for $2 stealing it. just hit the hook with a file.

From: Jesse: Phx, AZ

Comments: Great for in the summertime, just put a lake fork crawtube(slightly cut from the front)on the back.My favorite is the jig in" green pumpkin craw" with a lake fork crawtube in "fork secret"color on the back, good luck.

From: Noah: IA

Comments: Good jig overall. Great in the summer time when those short bulky baits work well. My only complaint is the paint isnt very durable

From: Justin: Mason, OH

Comments: This is a great little jig. A friend and I float tubed a local water district lake that we have caught a few fish with this spring and anytime you have a 20 fish day(my total) is just simply epic.  And the fish ranged from 2 to almost 7lbs.  We didn't even know that there was that kind of population in there.  We do now.  Oh and friend had 5 fish only because he refused to fish these little gems until it was me 9 and him zero...... We tipped the 1/4oz jigs with the netbait baby chunks

From: William: Long Beach

Comments: I laughed when i got these jigs! They looked like a child's jig, they are tiny and they have tiny little hooks maybe a 1/0. They will probably catch fish but the hook will cause problems.

From: Daniel: NC

Comments: I have had very good luck with these jigs.  I use the 3/4 and have lost only 1 fish.  I will be buying more soon.

From: Phillip: KY

Comments: The hook needs to be bigger. I've lost 6 out of 10 fish so far on the 1/4 and 3/4 ounce. They are made great and bass want them but the hooks are to small, they keep spitting it. Best of luck, you need super tight line and absolutely no slack to keep one on. I suggest they mimic Strike Kings designs.

From: Nick: Round Lake Beach, IL

Comments: Don't be drawn away because of the size or anything else. I just got back from my local pond. I live in Iowa where the state record is around 13.5 pounds, so a 7 pound bass is huge. I just landed a 5.5 pounder on the green pumpkin craw. I don't think it mattered though because she was 3 feet of of shore and took it right when it hit the water. Even with the small hook size I was able to hook and land it easily. I caught a few more smaller fish after that. I own about 4 of these jigs and plan on stocking up next time I go jig shopping.

From: Shane: IA

Comments: Great looking jigs.. And for a little hook there strong dont flex much at all when pulled on. 1 thing tho.. These jigs are small almost like the SK bitsy bug..

From: Sonny: East Wareham, MA

Comments: i havent got to use it yet i just got it today but it looks great ive had luck down here in north carolina with blue and black jigs so i thought i would order some ...

From: Hunter: St Pauls, NC

Comments: This is a well made jig that gets bites  and is a great bargain.  Its got a smaller, light wire hook thats super sharp and sets easy while fishing deep and is an ideal size when more of a finesse presentation is needed.   I personally like to remove several strands from the weedguard and spread the remaining out flat so the hookset isn't impeded

From: Ryan: San Diego, CA

Comments: best football jig head ever.  Just like everone else says the plastic keeper could be better thats the only down side of this jig.  Very durable and really good hook.  great price too!

From: Brian: NW Illinois

Comments: Great jig. They have a good hook and some lovely colors. My only beef with them is the barb to hold plastics, it is really close to the head of the jig so it doesn't hold trailers as well as some other barbs. Regardless, for the price they are hard to beat.

From: Jody: Shaftsbury, VT

Comments: At this price, personally would have to say one of the most valued jigs in my arsenal period. Hand tied and now with silicone skirts. Paint is tough against rocks and hard objects in water. Only football jigs i toss, after trying skinny bears, dirty jigs.
