Comments: This has been my best alternative to fluorocarbon when I dont need it. I put this line through some vigorous testing and it has performed well. I use it for shallow to medium diving crankbaits and topwater. The palomar knot holds great with this line. Some memory is expected with this line type and its not bad at all on baitcasting gear. Abrasion resistance is very good. The palomar knot holds great with this line. Some memory is expected with this line type and its not bad on baitcasting gear. Use some KVD line conditioner if you are having problems, it will keep the line supple and manageable.

Comments: I don't use mono nearly as much as I do fluoro or braid, but after trying several brands I've had by far the most success with this line. My spool of 10 lb.test is smooth, strong, supple, and the knots hold great. Can't say I've ever had any issues with this stuff, it does everything a good monofilament line should do.

Comments: Not sure if I got a bad batch from my tackle shop or what but this stuff has horrible memory. Curled up hours after spooling it on, constant backlashes, etc. Granted its a great sensitive mono but the stuff casted horribly and I was forced to strip it off my reel.

Comments: Idk what kind of knots some people use. But I use a double clinch with this. Fish creeks with rocks and gravel all day and not one break off. Tie better knots dude. Only line I use

Comments: Fantastic line. Have used the 6 lbs size on spinning gear for 3 years catching plenty limits worth of trout, crappie, walleye, large mouth and small mouth bass. I use it for finesse swim baits 2 in to 4 in on 1/8 oz to 1/4 oz jig heads on very cold and slow days in the spring and fall in lakes and rivers. In the summer I use it for 1/16 oz to 1/8 oz shaky heads. It was stronger than 6 lbs trilene XL and seaguar invisix, where I broke off on casts with 1/8 oz lures on the same rod and reel that worked with the 6 lbs trilene sensation line. It was also more limp and easier to cast than 6 lbs stren for me. For the price, it's not a bad line if you're on a budget.

Comments: Absolutely the best crankbait line ever. Cast great last long time, tough abrasive resistant. I never tried it on a spinning reel. I've fished crankbaits forever. I Used to use photochromic but they stopped making it. I think this is the same thing.

Comments: The ONLY line I use when not using fluorocarbon. Extremely strong but very limp. I've tried many other non-flouro lines over the years and Sensation is the best in my opinion.

Comments: The strength is no good and the knot strength is even worse than Vanish. Go with Stren Original, Suffix Elite, or McCoy Mean Green if you use mono.
Comments: One of my favorite lines out there and I've tried them all. The clear line has very little memory so it comes of off spinning reels like braid! It is also clear enough to fool finicky smallmouth sight fishing when they're 15 ft. down which was one of the characteristics I was looking for since I live in Michigan which has clear water pretty much everywhere. If you're on the fence about getting this line, don't hesitate. 8 lb test is what I use for all my finesse techniques like wacky worming, drop shotting, and small shaky heads. Buy with confidence!
