Comments: I got 6lb. test to try on my new Lews Speed Spin combo I had just gotten and all I can say is wow this is the strongest 6lb. test line I've ever used and I caught over 30 bass around grass beds and many got hung in the grass but I had not one problem getting them out, plus it barely showed signs of being frayed which still has me at oh snap. Only thing Im not that big on is that it doesnt cast as well as other lines Ive used on spinning tackle but its my new favorite.

Comments: this line is great . I caught over 30 hybrid stripers with no problems. My biggest fish were 10 and 7 pounds. The line also did great pulling fish through brush. This is going to be the only mono line that I use now.

Comments: I've never tried the armor coated product, but I've been using the XL regular the past two fishing seasons, and I've been very impressed with the performance. I would always prefer a stronger line in heavy cover, but the rocky places I fish don't wear on line like wood or brush. I like how the XL lays on the spinning spool with no kinks or twists. The 8 and 10lb tests are perfect for small crankbaits. When fishing in cold weather, I don't want to be fighting my line; just the fish.

Comments: Purchased some of this in 10 lb test. Did a break test and found it broke at 8lbs with a gradual tension applied. It did not break at the knots but in the middle of the test piece. By comparison 10 lb XT did not fail at 15 lbs.
