Big Bear 2014 Casting Rods - $174.99 to $179.99
New for 2014 - the Big Bear 2014 Casting Rods deliver innovative, American-made performance. Featuring top-of-the-line graphite blanks made from lightweight, super sensitive, high modulus carbon fiber, the Big Bear Original Rods allow you to detect the subtlest bites and then provide the power to haul big fish out of cover.
Revolutionary Big Bear Grips also set these rods apart from others in their class, offering improved performance in wet and cold conditions, as well as, reduced hand fatigue. The unique design channels water underneath your hands, so they won’t slip, and even retains warmth on those cold days.
Ultra light Pac Bay Minima Line Guides also furnish excellent durability, and a no-fore grip design with a two-piece Pac Bay Blank-Thru Reel Seat further facilitates sensitivity transfer. Loaded with features and performance, each Big Bear 2014 Series Casting Rod also has its LPA (Length, Power, Action) printed in large fonts on the handle for easy identification.
Please Note: Big Bear Rods does not provide Line & Lure Ratings.
Comments: I started fishing Big Bears the beginning of the season(May here in PA). Rods have performed extremely well and the sensativity is above average, can honestly feel a worm/jig pickup on slack Floro. Had one issue with a tip tops brace not being soldered and Rob took care of it immediately. Great rods, love the grips.
