Comments: To the guy: "that never owned one": You said it was Heavy?!  You must not know anything about fishing rods.  These are some of the lightest rods I've ever fished with. Comparable to G-Loomis but your not paying for the fancy name! If you just need one rod I suggest the 7'3" 3/4 heavy is the best worm fishing/dock fliping/frog rods in my arsenal.  It's got the right flex for skipping a jig and the back bone to horse those piggys out from heavy cover.

Comments: anyone who is an avid fisherman owes him/her self a rod that does what it is designed to do!my big bear is the best rod that i have fished with, and caught fish with> and yes i have fished the $400 ones.quality, balance and a very comfortable grip at a very fair price.

Comments: I have never owned a big bear or fished one, but a guy I know had one of their flipping sticks and he was showing me it. I didn't care for the grip, was bumpy and just wasn't comfortable in my hand, also the rod was obnoxiously heavy. I would go with another brand before I bought one, but just my opinion.

Comments: 14 rods and 4 years fishing them. Big Bear Fishing Rods are the BEST. American Made! Light, Sensitive, and Strong while maintaining Quality. Their Revolutionary Grip is like No Other. Plus I think the Blue is Hot, but if blue isn't your color then you can custom order the color of your choice from their website.
