Overview

Designed by Elite Series Pro Dean Rojas, the Big Bite Bait Cane Stick offers a slow natural fall that can be fished around docks and other thick cover. When a slower presentation is needed during tough bite conditions, the Cane Stick will get the job done. One unique feature of the Cane Stock, is its hook slot designed into the bait for improved hook ups at either end of the bait. When one end of the Cane Stick wears out, simply re-rig the bait on the other end, getting double use.

The Cane Stick can be rigged and fished in many different ways to match any fishing conditions that you will be faced with on the water. Texas, Carolina, Wacky and weightless are a few suggestions in how you can rig and fish the Cane Stick. One characteristic of the Cane Stick is the natural shimmy action of the bait as it falls making it a great bait choice to use when fished weightless texas style or fishing wacky style. Another key feature is the weight of the Cane Stick it is heavy enough to cast on either baitcasting or spinning equipment.

Comments: I have used the Cane Sticks almost exclusively for wacky rigging for at least three years and have caught better numbers than my fishing buddies while they were using senkos.  They hold up longer and are a little more than half the price.  If you look closely at the pictures, you' see that the ribs change direction in the center;  that's where you want your o-ring placed.  Nail wight one end and you'll get better action than any other stick bait out there and the fall rate is almost identical to the heavily salted stick baits  I began using them to Neko Rig this past summer and they are unbelievably effective.  The shank of the hook actually lays in the hook slot for a streamlined presentation.  The beefy nose securely holds any type of nail or screw lock weight.  It's almost as if the design of the Cane Stick was made for this technique.

Comments: Solid stick worm, a little on the lighter side weightwise, has a slower fall than a senko.

Comments: I purchased these in the Hot Chocolate color and I fished them weightless, I would just toss it out and let sink and halfway down the fall I would give it a little twitch and the bass would hit it just about every time. This is by far one of my best baits.

From: Mark: Fresno, CA 7/30/15

Comments: The 4 inch bait in Watermelon Red Flake is a smallmouth killer in clear water! The fact is, if it wasn't for Big Bite Baits, I wouldn't fish plastics, because no one else makes soft, durable plastics with good action and scent at a decent price.

From: Jackob: Avon, IN 11/2/14

Comments: I drop shot them, wacky rig them, flip them, C-rig them, etc... they are super versatile. Not quite a senko, not quite a trick/finesse worm. Kind of a hybrid of the two, with a little bit of beaver/creature bait in it's blood thanks to the ribbed under side. They plain catch fish, and good ones too. Durable? Not the best, not the worst. But they are cheap and catch fish, much like every big bite baits product.

Comments: I have several bags of these, the 4inch in black and blue has served me well on pressured lakes and ponds, they are durable, have good action and will catch Bass in all size Ranges when nothing else is working.

From: Thursty: MD 6/27/14

Comments: I first used this bait tonight in my quest for a good subtle replacement to the expensive and non-durable senko. These things killed. Great for skipping, and the fish loved 'em without sending them flying when they jumped (which, btw, those loose worms get picked up by other fish, and clog their intestines and kill them).

From: Eric: SC

Comments: These are the best worms I've used up here in the Eastern Washington area.  When the fishing is slow rig one up and you're in business.

From: Matt: Eastern Washington State

Comments: Cane Sticks have helped me place in a few Tourneys. This worm has endless rigging posibilities. The double ends are a nice feature. 10 inch Kreit Tail Worms are good producer too.
