Overview

Among the many senses that bass use to locate prey, sound is one of the strongest. The Boing G2 Popper exploits this attraction to sound by simultaneously generating a high and low frequency pitch, which drives bass bonkers. Not only does the Boing G2 Popper tickle bass' eardrums, it also has a specially designed concave mouth that spits and gurgles when worked along the surface. Like its brother the Boing Topwater Lure, the Boing G2 Popper also delivers long, bullet-like casts. Hand-painted and offered in a number of spectacular finishes, the Boing G2 Popper is armed with two sticky-sharp Gamakatsu hooks, and a hand-tied feathered trailer. Take your topwater fishing to unseen heights with unique tonal agitation and gurgling action of the Boing G2 Lures.

Comments: I've tried to catch fish with it for the last 10 years or so, because it moves great, popping and walking. But, I've never had a bite. I wish they made a silent version of this. I know that would defeat the "Boing" thing, but I really want something like this with no rattle.

Comments: Great popping bait with a unique sound of its own. Also walks with ease if you're looking for that walking popper combo.

From: Derek : Pixley, CA 8/23/23

Comments: The Boing Popper has become my go to popper bait. The ability to pop and walk the larger profile bait with the sound can drive fish wild.

From: Brian: 8/20/23

Comments: These poppers are the Best on the Market. I've had fish that I see come 10 to 15 yards away to hit these baits !!

From: Mark: Central Texas 8/20/23

Comments: I have owned this bait for over 6 years, I have never gotten a bite using these garbage boing lures. I fish topwater mostly and catch hundreds of fish using other topwater such as spooks, sammies and shower blow. This boing baits SUCK!!! don't waste your money on these things.

Comments: When it comes to topwaters most anglers think of the spook, vixen, shower blows, etc. I think the same way but my first choice is Boing! If you don't think this way then you have not tried Boing Lures yet and you are really missing out! Easy to walk and that sound....so different and your fish have likely never heard it before. Those that know of this bait are very tight lipped because it's that good. Some will say it's pricey but keep in mind it's a topwater and let's face it.... it's fairly hard to "lose" a topwater. More importantly, it's worth every penny and more! Very durable, great colors and flat catches them. Two seconds after holding this bait you'll say things like.. "Oh wow, I've never heard a sound like that before". "How does it make that sound?" "Have I been living under a rock?" "Why did I wait this long to buy one?" Seriously, try it and thank me later. (Or hate me because I told everyone)

Comments: These poppers are money .. caught 4 bass - 1 striper in 4 hours in A very very tuff lake ( lake mead ) it's that very unique noise that these put out - diffrent from anything else and curiosity gets the best of them .. I found the best cadence to be 4 quick pops ( get that noise ringing ) then just let it sit for 10 seconds .. most strikes came on the long pause ( curiosity) great lure - highly recommend

Comments: Love this top water - lost mine in a river couple years back - how awesome to find it being sold here at T.W .. trust me fellas this top water popper works better then most .. Somthing about the Acoustic reverberation bass just can't seem to ignore .. pricey I know but worth it ..

Comments: Extremely confused about the bad reviews go read my 3 page review I did on the walking version of this bait it just catches then again and again guys who said they couldn't catch with this lure are either mental or have never fished a day in there life I can't even use other baits if it's not bling I feel like I'm behind the 8 ball  but ... no they suck don't buy them more for me LOL but seriously don't listen to those clowns until you try for yourself you won't be disappointed just look at the product review on the walking stick bait I literally wrote an article on how good both versions are also watch the product video

Comments: These are the worst topwater baits on the market, they have absolutely no action and won,t catch fish. Save your money and buy a sammie or evergreen Shower blow,if you just want to try something other than a spook. In any case all three of those lures are a thousand times more effective than any of the boing lures.

From: Unknown 8/24/18

Comments: These baits suck big time, they have no action and just don't catch fish, however they do have the  loudest rattles on the market but loud rattles in and of themselves don't catch fish!! Save yourself some money and purchase a lucky craft sammie or a ima Skimmer you will be glad you did. Any one who says these bait slay the fish is lying.

Comments: This bait is amazing.  Catches fish while similar baits just cause the bass to do the tail side swipe.  I was using a Megabass Pop-X and was getting blowups, but no hookups.  Thought about this bait a buddy talked me in to buying.  Tied it on and the difference was immediate.  Went back over the same water and caught the bass that was side swiping the "other" $25 bait.  The sound and the action is so unique.  It takes very little input to "walk the dog". I use the popper version and it just kills them.  I've caught big bass and bass so small they weren't much bigger than the bait.  This one just drives them crazy.  Well worth the money for a bait so unique that the fish in your waters have never experienced.  Be the first to fish it and you'll not regret it.  Sicky Bone color with a pack of Sharpie colored markers and you can have a bait NO ONE has.

Comments: Hands down the best walking bait on the market!! I haven't tried the popper yet but that's next!! Top of the line bait for sure

From: Dave: Santa Barbara, CA 3/21/16

Comments: I have fished this bait for over 8 years. The "walk the dog" action is the best in the market. you can make this baby talk to you. One fish catchin' machine!

From: Norm: Nashville, IN 2/19/16

Comments: Its crazy some baits get bad reviews from people that either A: dont know how to fish or B: test a new bait out one time on a bad day and give up. We bought a few of these baits at an expo here this past spring, the g2 popper and the walking lure  and yes the price is a little high but the quality is second to none. There is click the bait makes everytime its twitched and the darting action is much longer from side to side than other walking baits. Fish Boing next to other walking baits and see the difference. Boing has a short video clip we sent them to prove it.  Overall I give it an A+, you get what you pay for when it comes to fishing tackle and this is one that is well worth the money.

From: Brandon: Va Beach, VA 5/15/14

Comments: A buddy recieved one of these in a monthly tackle bag subscription. Appearently the lure is supposed to make a "boing!" sound when popped. So we went out for a couple of mornings with a great topwater bite and he fished the hell out of it...nothing. I was sticking them all morning the a g-splash and spook. We traded lures and I could not make any thing hit it aside from accidentally hooking a floating dead carp! Don't waste your money or your time on the water.

Comments: Best top water popper style lure on the market!  The action and sound are unbeatable!
