Overview

Boing Lures take topwater performance and fishing technology to a whole new level. The difference is in the "Boing" sound that a Boing Lure generates. It is designed to stimulate a fish's sound-receptor by creating both High and Low spectrum frequencies - unlike any lure on the market! This creates a burst of acoustic information and electrical signals that are conveyed directly to a fish’s brain - and causes them to react violently.

Easy to walk-the-dog with and cast a country mile, the topwater Boinger is constructed of extremely durable Lexan for added toughness, and the sound chamber contains material, which will never bend or break. The hook eyes are also constructed of stainless steel, and Boing Lures come equipped with sticky sharp premium Gamakatsu #4 black nickel trebles. Featuring an array of quality paint schemes by Dwain Batey at Baitworks, Boing Lures take the time on each bait to make sure you get the best possible lure for your money. Boing Lures also feature feathered trebles hand-tied in the US.

Boing Lures: Audio attraction that eclipses all others.

Made in the USA by fishermen for fishermen.

Bone colored walkerI have the bone color walker. It is like a spook but the sound it makes us like a dinner bell to bass and they can’t resist it!! I will keep them walking baits in my tackle box.

Previous Feedback

Comments: Deadly walking bait with a unique sound and walks with ease . Flat out gets bit.

From: Derek : Pixley ca 8/23/23

Comments: If you're looking for explosive topwater action this is the lure you want. They are easy to walk the dog with, and the internal knocker help make mile long casts effortless! By far the best topwater lure I have ever used.

From: Casey: Staunton, Ca 8/20/23

Comments: Boy these BAITS are the Real Deal !! I feel like they are the Best walking bait out there !!! You guys need to try a couple and see what you think.

From: Mark: TX 8/20/23

Comments: Bought one of these after reading a lot of reviews. It seems the new paint jobs are much worse and the overall quality isn't what they used to be. It does make a slightly different sound than most walking baits. I added a split ring to the front of mine and it walks better but still not fantastic. Overall this bait is decent and catches some fish but is way overpriced for what you get. Stick with Strike King, 6th Sense, or Heddon Spooks for better value.

From: Matt: Missouri 7/10/23

Comments: First and last boing lure I'll use. Looks like I bought a used one... Disappointed. These comments saying the paint job is great are probably just the owner writing his own reviews.

From: Will: Smith 10/19/22

Comments: Don't waste your money! The paint is just so so and it doesn't have the boing sound. Mine sounds just like a ball rolling around. At least I have some good hooks to use on a different bait.

From: Brandon : Arkansas 8/22/22

Comments: The BEST topwater lure out there without a doubt. The unique sound draws fish out from a long ways. You will not find another topwater lure with this type of sound. It is 100% unique to this bait. However, it takes a few casts to find out the right way to walk it. The G2 popper also can walk the dog just as well as the spook. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

From: Brady: 2/8/20

Comments: I've been fishing boing lures for 5 years . I've never got a bad paint job on none of mine. They are by far the best lures out in the market by far.

From: Dennis: 8/8/19

Comments: Wow all I can say is I'll be buying every color and every design. Hand crafted this lure makes a noise you can hear from 100 yards away it literally draws fish out of cover the sound is so high pitched and knocking you wouldn't even believe how incredible it is... a little mad tackle warehouse is giving up all my secrets but this bait has produced hogs for me I  tournaments and put me in the money many times... I'm chasing to be a pro angler and if I don't have these when I leave the dock I feel like a part of me is missing... I AM SHOCKED  these aren't sold out maybe it's the price point and guys are skeptical but thank God cause that's more for me the clown who said these don't walk has probably never fished in his life obviously the popper won't walk as well as the stick bait because it's a popper like DUH. Can't wait for my new batch of these bad boys . Hooks are also amazing and the feather on the back is big and hand tied this will be one of my go to lures for many years I can't even fish any of my other topwater baits because they just don't work as efficiently as this boing Ive fosses all my spoons and other lackluster topwaters I've owned megabass Kvd walking baits and basically every style you can imagine the only thing that maybe even comes close is the whopper popper however it still doesn't even make a sound relatively close tho the bling at all it literally Boing's its insane but still it would have to be one funky day for me to throw anything else as this comes in a G3 buzzing version too which I absolutely love. All in all if you pass up of this that's awesome more fish for me and my lifetime topwater secret gets kept in the bag ...... so keep sleeping on this bad boy ....or don't YOU WONT REGRET THIS BUY ...... and if there's any more clowns saying what if it gets snagged for the money we'll then I'm going swimming for this puppy because I love them that much go ahead add 5 to your cart like I know your about too there cash money every time flat out catch fish and they make a crazy sound you'll never see in another topwater on the market just watch the video and turn your computer volume up guys from other boats will hear you fishing this thing

Comments: Well I just read through the other reviews.  I am not a pro by any means but I think they are great.  I didn't pay anything for my lure. Mine was given to me by a good friend.   I have the bluegill color lure and just got back from fishing with it.  I was out at Summit Lake state park and I'm totally impressed.   First cast it got knocked about 2ft. In the air.   I caught 7 very nice bass in the matter of about an hour!   I can't tell you much about paint quality but the fish seem to like it very well.

From: Travis Farling: Mooreland, IN 6/29/19

Comments: not sure why everyone is complaining about the paint job....its a spook they can only see the bottom half of the bait anyway you only need a light color and a dark color thats it the bait walks and works just fine my person preference would be the heddon its just what I grew up using so I am a bit biased I got this bait on sale so is it a bit overpriced probably but theres no reason you shouldnt buy this lure if you like topwater action

From: Phil: CA 6/14/19

Comments: Terrible lure. I cant get it to walk to save my life. And the paint job is horrible. The eye was painted closed when I took it out of the package. I feel sick to my stomach when I think about how much I paid for it. AND I BOUGHT 2 !!

From: GREG: VISALIA, CA 5/24/19

Comments: Got a chance to meet and chat with the owner at the Indiana Fishing Expo. Really stand up guy! Bought a couple and fished them. All I can say is WOW! They flat out catch em. The paint job isn't the greatest but the noise and action of the bait more than makes up for it!!!

From: Nicholas: Indiana  2/12/19

Comments: Boing Lures switched the custom painting of these lures from Dwain Batey to another painter nearly two years ago, yet you are still advertising "Featuring an array of customer paint schemes by Dwain Batey at Baitworks".   The new custom painting is of very poor quality in my opinion and the poor quality is simply not worth the high price.   You need to update your advertising or you are likely to have some very disappointed customers.

From: David: GREENWOOD 1/31/19

Comments: Very sub par bait, the paint chips very easy.....Sorry, defiantly not worth $27 more like $12 if that.  Honestly they don't preform that well either Heddons preform way better at a fraction of the price.

From: Unknown 11/2/18

Comments: THIS IS POSSIBLY THE WORST TOPWATER BAIT ON THE MARKET, THE POPPER IS ALMOST AS BAD THEY DON"T WALK PROPERLY THEY DON"T POP THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING. SAVE YOUR MONEY. TO THOSE WHO CLAIM THESE BAITS CATCH FISH  EMAIL ME AND I WILL SELL YOU MINE GLADLY

From: Unknown 8/30/18

Comments: Great topwater really calls the fish up have had best luck on slow walk or on the pause

From: JT - 7/7/18

Comments: Great reviews until I bought two to try.  The custom paint job is mediocre at best, nothing outlandishly spectacular.  Both lures I bought did not sit correctly in the water.  Both lures would roll more to one side over the other.  Sounds crazy right?  I would of thought the wight of the hook would keep it sitting correctly but nope.  Shake it side to side, like how it would come thru the water and the "boing" is faint.  Turn the lure like it's sitting on its side and shake...now the "boing" sounds like I assume it supposed to.  What I'm saying is these don't seem to be made/painted on the correct spine/axis.  Maybe the ones I got were painted more on one side, that I don't know.  In addition the "boing" sounds more like a typical single knocker.  I'm sure it sounds unique but this thing at most should only be $10.  Not hating, just being critical.

From: Thomas - 4/20/18

Comments: Great bait won a ton of money on these bait but I had issues with the balll coming off the wire , called the owner he said he will replace them well it's been 3 years now never got one . Evey time I contact him he gives me a sad story and said he will get them out next week

From: Bob: Missouri 3/13/18

Comments: This lure has caught me more big fish then any other top water. The sound it puts out draws some of the most violent strikes ive ever seen on a spook type bait. The one negative i have found with this lure is that it is almost impossible ta fish when its a little windy, due to the flat eye it tends to get swallowed by waves. If its windy the heddon spook will perform better, but if fishing normal conditions the Boing is hands down a game changer

From: Chris: Knoxville, TN 7/15/14

Comments: Compared to most walk the dog lures, this one is very difficult to work, the back end swings around very fast and if you want to work it fast it does great however, if you retrieve it a slow pace it is almost impossible to retrieve. It does a have great unique sound that does catch fish and I do recommend it just note its not the spook to buy if you plan on working it slowly

From: WarEagle: AL 4/3/14

Comments: Awesome topwater bait...much larger walking pattern than a spook...the wake it leaves looks more like a snake swimming to me...and the sound it make is unique...you can hear it plain as day on the retrieve..Just returned from Guntersville and they crushed them for days...You wont be disappointed in this bait!!

From: Tim: Knoxville TN

Comments: I am gaining more and more confidence with this lure every time I use it.  I have had bass that are not even 5 inches hit this lure, and as other said, they swear the fish is much larger. Last weekend caught over 15 fish in an hour.  Cannot wait to put this bait to work this fall.

From: Brett: Rochester Ny

Comments: these are by far the best top water out there . outfished a friend who swears by the spook!! now he ordred 4 of these . i have all the colors. awsome lure!!

From: Eric

Comments: After fishing this lure this spring and all the way up until now, all I can say is AMAZING!! It's happend to me more than once(and never happend with any other topwater stickbait) I cast it out, and let it sit there and move around with the waves, and the bass SLAM it way before I even begin my retreive!! That boing sound gets'em pissed something bad!! Hey get you some of these, and get'em quick, they sell fast!!

From: Mrbond007: East Lansing, MI

Comments: Tyler from KY is mistaken. These are better than any other walking bait on the market! IDK why but the boing sound they make forces fish to blast it way harder than most spooks. I caught a 1.4 on it last nigh and he crushed it so hard I thought I had a 4 pounder.

From: Cullen: Ashburn, VA

Comments: Clearly anyone saying these baits are horrible has never actually used it. Sure, a spook is cheaper, but nowhere near as nice and will get outfished by a Boing EASILY! I know this because I got outfished by my Coangler who was throwing this and I was switching between a Spook and Repo Man. I caught fish, but his were much bigger and the blow ups were more violent. He ended up winning the Coangler Division by over 5 pounds and this bait was ALL he threw. I could hear that sound clearly as he was bringing it in, it must just drive the Bass crazy. After that day on the water, I immediately went and ordered some and can't wait until the backorder is over and I get them!

From: JoeFISHUSA: Table Rock, MO

Comments: These baits are horrible.  For the price they aren't worth it.  Buy a spook, more than half the price and will catch just as many fish if not more!

From: Tyler: KY

Comments: I was skepticle when I first got this lure last year. But after fishing with it several times, I am hooked. I think they perform better than a Spook. I caught several nice fish on these last summer and fall. Great bait!!

From: Jason: Pennington Gap, VA

Comments: WOW!! This is the most creative lure I've seen in a long time!! Sweet paint job, great hardware componets, and the sound it makes, can't wait until spring to see how the bass react to it!!

From: mrbond007: East Lansing, MI

Comments: Had some of the most vicious hits ever on top water with these. Great baits and the paint jobs are crazy!!! Go Boing and go Baitwerks!

From: Leng: AR

Comments: ordered yesterday and received today, best customer service ever! The sound of this bait is ridiculous, never heard anything like it. Can't wait to see how the bass at DVL respond tomorrow morning to the "boing!"

From: LMCK

Comments: ordered 2 already looks incredible, by the looks of the videos i cannot wait to tie this on my line!

From: David: San Diego, USA

Comments: Guys the pictures don't do these baits justice. They are absolutely AMAZING
