Offering a more subtle approach to catching those deep fish, the Bomber Silent Deep Fat Free Shad gives them the silent treatment. A great choice for spooky or heavily pressured fish, it’s designed to dive to 19 feet on a long cast with 10lb line - reaching depths never seen before in a Fat Free Shad. A longer lip helps it dive quickly and bounce through cover without snagging, and it still has the magical bass catching action that made the originals such successful tournament baits. Available in several proven color combinations, the Bomber Silent Deep Fat Free Shad is also equipped with super sharp Tx3 treble hooks to keep those fish pinned.

Comments: This bait is awesome. Was out on the delta in Tracy and caught 6 LARGE mouth ranging 2-4 pnd range. The bait runs deep as stated and casts in the wind well too. Recommend changing the hooks though had 2 fish come off at the boat...

Comments: I've been using FF Shad baits in all sizes for several years.  I especially like the #7 size for deep cranking.  Thought I would try the new Deep #8.  Very disappointed.  All the other models cast like a bullet and fish great.  This model, however, is a dog.  Does not cast well.  Hangs in the wind because of the wider bill causing constant backlashes while I rarely backlash casting into the wind with my other baits.  Bait listed as 1oz but does not feel as heavy as the #7.  Even the DD22 with the hugh bill casts better than this model.

Comments: Just got back from Lake Aqua Mipla in Mexico. The bite was on cranks and plastics. For our cranks we used Bomber fat free Shad in the Pearl White color. Landed 495 bass in three days using the 6D. Only issue i had was the hooks kept breaking and I pulled the split rings apart. Replace the hooks first off with a red trailer on the back. Bring extra hooks if your going to Aqua Milpa as you will need them. Other then the hooks they worked great. Swam straight n deep and held up pretty good to the damage they were thrown into. Have fun fishing and remember, ( Let them go so they can Grow)
