Comments: Great idea, horrible execution. Unless you only plan to use the hook point hole. The mold line runs down the middle of the clip and into the line groove. It's pronounced, very sharp, and cut into my line on the first test of the clip after receiving them. I bought several of these between this combo pack, plus all 3 individual sizes, and they're all that way. Now I have to decide if I want to waste a bunch of time trying to sand or file the mold line down on each one to create a usable smooth surface that won't cut into my line, or just trash them. If you click on the image of the Red clip you can clearly see the mold line I'm referring to. I didn't look closely at the images before purchasing, so that's on me. However, I didn't expect that kind of laziness from a company that normally makes great products.

Like others have said, little tape helps if need, and would be better if able to order just a single size rather than multi sizes. Comments:I agree with others who have posted that these are great clips, but we should be able to buy them in the sizes we want, not random sizes we may never, or can't, use. The clips that fit my rods, work great, but I get at least one clip per package, sometimes two, that I can't use because it doesn't fit my rods. Comments:These are great little clips but they have a serious flaw and that lies entirely in how they are packaged for sale.They come in a 3-pack but all 3 different sizes.I need several of the same size and none of the other two sizes which means that I have to buy several packs and end up with two clips per pack that I can't use.

Comments:I picked up a pack of these last year and they have a great idea but I lost 2 of them in the lake last year. They fell of the rod both times. Great concept but just didn't work for me. Will not be buying anymore!

Comments:The Cali Clips are great for a drop shot! I'm no longer untangling my weight from around other rods. I use them on my flipping stick as there's a place to have your hook covered, it makes it very accessible when your trying different Baits going down a bank or punching.

Comments:It just makes sense! If you have a closed loop hook keeper and you have to keep taking the hook out of the plastic to hook it then it's a no brainer purchase! I use it on my dropshot rod so the weight is connected to it, I use it for my Hud swimbait rod because the hook keeper broke, my flipping rod, and even my frog rod because the about of time it takes to put that big hook in the keeper and then get it out is just too long.
