Comments: Canyon Plastics Original Magnum Gitzit Tubes 5" are a mainstay in any anglers' arsenal! I rig this bait by making a small hole in the center of the nose. Run fishing line, from the reel, through the entire length of the tube. Place a 8mm black plastic bead (for surface, frog type action), a glass bead (for a slow fall, shallow water presentation), or a tungsten, ultra steel egg sinker (for deeper water). Slide the bead or sinker inside the hollow body until it is directly behind the hole in the nose. Tie on a 3/0 EWG Gamakatsu worm, or a 3/0 EWG Gamakatsu Superline hook. Run the hook point first through the hollow part of the body until it is almost at the bead or weight. Make sure before making the hole below, that there has been given enough room for the neck of the hook shaft. Make the hole and work the hook out until the shaft is the only part left inside the bait. Gently pull any excess line through the hole in the nose. After this has been tightened, the hook tie should be directly behind the bead or weight. If the hook looks relaxed and straight, pierce the tube through the bottom and out the top. Finish by skin hooking the point to make it weedless. So many different ways to fish, try this technique and catch a limit with the Canyon Plastics Original Magnum Gitzit Tubes 5".

Comments: got the the brown melon/red glitter tube today and these look awesome. Sturdy plastic with enough softness. It's sleek but the overall length of it gives it a good profile with about a little over 3" of a frill. I fish spotted bay bass and want to give them something new to chew in newport harbor. I'll be confident throwing this bait on a 1/4 sledhead through some eel grass tomorrow
