Comments: Beware of this company. Custom service for broken rods are a joke. " we are out of that particular rod, check back in two months,". "No we cannot substitute any 7' models because we are out of stock, check back in three months." Or. "We cannot warranty rods bought last month because our company was sold & our new owners are not responsible for rods sold before this month". I've tried to exchange several broken rods over the past few years and this is but a few if the responses I have had. I'm done with the stix

Comments: I have seven of these rods and love them! Very light and sensitive and will be buying more. 7'0" Heavy casting are awesome for flipping/pitching jigs and creature baits. 7'0" Med/Heavy are great for Senko style baits, swimbaits and worming.

Comments: Customer service is horrible. When you talk to them, they aren't familiar with their own products, and they don't fish!? I broke the 7'6 H fast tip model in the wild wild black on a hookset. Made a claim, process was easy. Had to settle for a different action, taken over a month, because I was originally told the replacement was available, but I ordered a second rod discounted, and that model wasn't available for 4 weeks. 4 weeks later, it'll be another 3 weeks and now my replacement rod was no longer in stock. I asked if I don't like what I settled on, can I send it back, the reply,"Probably not". I also cancelled my discounted rod order. I wouldn't recommend spending this kind of money on a rod, with the kind of service provided.

Comments: Good sensitive rod! I've owned about 17 of the 7foot med/hvy casting rods! Great for Senkos and light Texas rigged baits! The only problem is some of the rods I have had have broken at the tip while bringing in a fish or on hook sets! The only problem is their customer service! A couple of times it has benn good but the rest has been the crappiest service you could ever have from a company if you like a medium- heavy rod! They never have replacement rods in stock for warranty claims! And you never get a honest answer from anyone there! Jimmy their new manager treats you like a schmuck on the phone and will tell you whatever you need to hear to calm you but honestly it took almost a year to get replacements that were promised and then wanted to give you crap about it !! I am still waiting on 3 more replacements that has now been like 6 months because rods are still stuck in China! WTF !!! Who really knows ! I sure hope Jimmy holds true to his promises again!

Comments: I own 20 or so rods in the $100-200 range. Halo Twilite, falcon bucoo, the new lews, duckett's, etc. I like the duckett blanks a lot but their handles are too skinny and their guides aren't aligned properly. Like the Bucoo a lot too but overall, this rod is my favorite. Great fit and finish, sensitivity is fantastic and it's lighter than any of the other rods. I've weighed them. Seems to have plenty of backbone and the handle is just right for a bigger guy. I hate the skinny handles a lot of the newer rods are coming with now. If you're going to spend $130 on a rod go with this or the bucoo.

Comments: I purchased (2) 7' Black Wild Spinning Rods last year, one for Shakey Heads and one for Drop Shot. They are very light, comfortable, and the sensitivity is outstanding. At this point I have had no problems with either and am looking this year to buy a similar size casting rod to run shallow Crankbaits.
