Cashion Casting Crankbait Rods

Cashion Fishing Rods introduces their lightest and most sensitive Microguide Crankbait Fishing Rods with the Cashion Crankbait Casting Rods. Each Cashion Fishing Rod is handcrafted in Raleigh, NC one-rod-at-a-time using carbon fiber rod blanks, and only the finest components with the most technologically advanced materials. Extremely sensitive due to the uni-directional manufacturing process of the blanks, they are designed to handle all types of cranking and help you know exactly what your plug is bouncing off of. A Fuji blank exposed reel seat also provides you with direct access to the rod blank, and every rod is equipped with a carbon fiber split grip handle that also further transmits vibrations from the rod blank to our fingertips. Carbon fiber provides a stronger, lighter, more robust alternative to common foam or cork handles, while also furnishing a comfortable texture with plenty of grip. Premium Fuji Micro Guides round out the advanced features, offering increased sensitivity, reduced weight and improved casting distance and accuracy. Available in several lengths and tapers, the Cashion Crankbait Casting Rods are scientifically designed to keep you ahead of the competition.

Comments: I have been using the Cashion C8457 7' MH rod for a solid year now. This rod has seen a lot of use as I spend anywhere from 4-6 days a week on the water. I have tried many different plugs and presentations using this rod to see what limitations it may have. My preferred use of this rod includes small to medium sized cranks from 0-10', lipless cranks up to 5/8 as well as blade baits and smaller spoons. The rod also handles squarebills in light cover very nicely however I prefer a little more backbone in a squarebill rod when fishing heavier cover. The C8457 has all the attributes that one looks for in a high end rod. It is very light, comfortable in hand, sensitive, loads up well and has enough tip to keep fish buttoned up. With all that said, the rod has held up very well after many hours of use. I have been very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend this rod.

Comments: This is by far the best crankbait rod I have ever used and I've used the all. I let a buddy of mine fish it at a local tourney. The next day he bought 2 for himself. Not sure where the complaints about the handle "bitting" come from, I guess they don't like sensitive rods. Thanks Cashion.

Comments: I purchased the 7'3" MH cranking rod recently. I've only casted a plug in the yard and seen the action with my 20 lb dog running with the plug... I have a LOT of fishing rods in this price range and not too many have made me grin the way this one did coming out of the tube. It's light and balanced - feels and looks 'stealthy'. The micro guides were all perfectly lined up. When's the last time you've seen that?? It measured 7' 3.6" and weighs 4.6 oz on a postal scale. Great parabolic bend. It didn't take long to realize I didn't dig the way the edge on my palm felt against the 'hard-ish' grip - didn't have any traction (grip) on it when fighting my dog in the yard. Easy fix - put a 3" piece of accu-cull grip saver wrap on there and it grips perfectly now. VERY impressed with this rod!!

Comments: Got the rods not too long ago. The grip is unique and awesome. The rods really surprised me on how far they cast. The actions are prefect for cranks and they have a nice selection. I have 4 different crank rods now and they each fit certain baits I like to fish. They are my new favorite crank rods by far.

Comments: I own six Cashion rods including three of the 7' 5/16-3/4oz crankbait rods. I have no problem with the rod...or its ability to throw any crainkbait witin the weight range specified. I also have not had a problem with any of my rods restricting the depth of my crankbaits....honestly not sure how the rod could do that?? I have been very happy with the quality of this product and would highly recommend these rods to anyone looking for a high performance rod for salt or fresh water. Very light, very strong, and very sensative!! Great product!!  Thank you Cashion rods!!

Comments: I have owned a lot of expensive crankbait rods over the years past they donâ•ÂË™t come close to the Cashion crankbait rods. With the micro guides I can cast a crankbait a mile also it has an excellent parabolic bend to the rod.  The sensitivity is unbelievable I can feel every little detail on the bottom.  One of my favorites is the 6â•ÂË™9 MH it is an extremely vestal rod, perfect for throwing jerkbaits, topwater, and crankbaits. I can throw anywhere from a square bill to a DT-10 and it handles it perfect.

Comments: If you want the best crankbait rod definitely give Cashion rods a try. Two of my favorites are the C8437 7' MOD FAST MEDIUM for my 1.5. and the 711XD rod. You will feel your crankbaits like you've never felt them before. Over the years I have used rods from the most popular companies that cost from $100- over $500 and Cashion rods have them all beat. Not just the crankbait rods but all their rods.

From: Richard: Tennessee

Comments: These rods may be good rods. But.... They are not made in Raleigh, NC.  They are made in Pittsboro, NC. About a 45 minute drive from Raleigh.  Carbon Fiber grips?  Those grips are not made of carbon fiber.  Carbon fiber only comes in one color.  This is probably carbon fiber and fiberglass, or all fiberglass that has been dyed.   And the no foam handles... Haha.  Custom rod builders that use these kinds of grips use foam underneath the weave wrap so that it will keep its shape.

Comments: I just picked up the 7'6" version.  I love it!  I have 10 carrot sticks and I am looking to sell them are replace them with this rod.  The rod is sensitive and strong for those hard hook sets.  It is very light as well -- looks awesome on my Curado.

From: Thomas: Columbia, SC

Comments: Best crankbait rod out there. Cast a mile with the microguides  and the sensitivity is amazing!!!
