Cashion Casting Rods

If you are looking to gain a competitive advantage or simply looking to put more bass in your boat, the Cashion Casting Rods offer technologically advanced performance, including Fuji Micro Guides. Constructed from all carbon fiber right down to the carbon fiber split grip handles, they’re designed to help you catch those fish you missed before. The blanks are made with a uni-directional manufacturing process that yields lightweight yet strong blanks with unbeatable sensitivity and responsiveness. Blank-exposed reel seats also put you in direct contact with the rod blank, plus the carbon fiber grips are more dense than cork or foam to allow more vibration to reach your finger tips. Premium Fuji Micro Guides also offer increased sensitivity, decreased weight, and improved casting distance and accuracy. Available in several different lengths and tapers, the Cashion Casting Rods offer technologically advanced performance for a wide range of bass fishing applications.

Comments:  I own 5 Cashion rods. I got the first two a few years ago and got 3 more last winter, not sponsored by them. I haven't had any problems with any of them, and I find the grips are comfortable and sensitive, they actually grip well when wet too. Great build, lightweight rod with incredible sensitivity. I've talked to the owner, Matt Cashion, and he builds his own blanks, so there really isn't another rod out there like it. Its also pretty cool that you can just call the owner of the company and talk to him, without having to jump through a bunch of hoops. The next rods I buy will be Cashions.

Comments: This is what I use for every type of jig that it is my box.  I throw a swim jig, casting jig, grass jig, and a football head jig with the confidence I know I am maximizing the sensitivity with the backbone to drive the bigger hooks that are made on jigs today.  I will also throw a C-Rig and pitch senkos and big worms in heavy cover with this rod.  I have several of the 7' MH because I like to put a couple different jigs on the deck depending on the wind and water color.

Comments: Amazing quality build. Love the stout blank and super light sensitvity. Simplistic design. The handle truly does improve overall feel and action of the rod. Paired with Daiwa Tatula reel. Killer setup. Heard some complaints about the handle being uncomfortable but I always wear gloves so not an issue at all. Check em' out. Awesome rods!!! 2nd only to Power Tackle.

Comments: Just got in my 6 9 mh worm and jig rod. Threw a revo on it rigged up a 1/4 oz tungsten weight with a 3 mustad hook and a zoom lizard . And headed down to the lake in my backyard . 4 bass in 7 cast rod balances great very sensitive and drives a hook great . Really like this rod . This is the first cashion I've owned but want be the last .

From: Matt: Brookhaven, MS 3/5/14

Comments: my favorite rod very light yet strong with my 6"9 heavy i have gloomis imx a denali noirwood molix fioretto and a dobyns savy micro some more expensive other the same im staying with cashion only complain the handle is a little short with 13"  and the grip after some hours its a little anoying bought two rods not a single bubble on the glue  and im bying the new crankbait series

From: Unknown: Mexico

Comments: I live in Raleigh(NC State) where these rods are made, and I made the correct choice of supporting a local company! This is an unbelievable rod for the price. 7'3" MH fast casting rod..It is by FAR the best rod I own, and plan on staying loyal to the locals..Awesome rod Dr. Cashion

From: Brian: Raleigh, NC

Comments: These rods are awesome, I love the grip and the microguides are awesome.  I have zero complaints about this rod.  Ignore the naysayers, these are 180 bucks wells spent.

From: Mike: Central Coast, CA

Comments: These rods Are not broom sticks. i have 7Ft heav. its a good rod. But people lets not get carried away they are not loomis sensative. For the money they blow ducketts AWAY...No question about it.

From: Tyler: AL

Comments: I own a lot of rods and was a Cumara/Cumulus guy until I found these rods.  They feel so amazingly light and sensitive....almost so much (as another person mentioned) that you are more careful with them than even more expensive rods. Matt Cashion stood behind his rod when I had a tip snap off.  As long as you get the right action rod (may want to check the Cashion site) and match it to your technique these are GREAT rods.  I will be buying more of them for sure.

From: Dutin: SLC, UT

Comments: these rods seem high quality but for anything other than flipping/maybe tx rig they are very difficult. The mh feels like heavy and heavy is a broomstick. Impossible to cast cranks or spinnerbaits.

From: David

Comments: I have learned to love these rods. Little disappointed at first because I ordered a medium/heavy flipping stick and it was like a broom stick. I now use that rod for frogs and TN rigs and love it ! Bought 2 more since then and love them too. The handle is kinda over rated, but I don't hate it either. I've put these rods through some serious tests and they have passed all with ease. Haters are gonna hate. But in my opinion they are great rods

From: Dave: TN

Comments: These grips are horrible, no positives about them. The tip of this rod wants to snap back to its natural position faster than I've ever seen before. I have personally broke a flipping stick in half on a 6lber. I have also seen a few friends set the hook and have multiple guides pop out.

From: J: Toledo Bend, TX

Comments: Truthfully haven't own or fished the two I own long enough to say for sure what I've got. Current impressions are they look and feel like the most expensive rods I own. I have a $450 kistler for comparison. They are bigtime light and yet so stiff with mh I wish I had ordered medium. Can't speak to durability, etc yet but I find myself being more careful with these than my other rods like you might try to be more of a gentleman if the lady is really fine.

From: David: TX

Comments: Sorry I returned it. I prefer the Duckett rod over this. The rod was not well built professionally. There's a lot of glue (big bubble) around the guides. Also the blank was not coated properly. Not worth 180.00.

From: DV: MN

Comments: I just got my new 7'6" mh and a 6'9" mh cashion rods in about two weeks ago. I was skeptical at first when ordering it because this product was something new and different, but it also had very good reviews also so i went ahead and got it anyways. I took the rods out to a few local lakes to give it a test using some of my homemade jigs and cranks that has weights ranging from 1/4 to 1 oz. All i could say is WOW! what a great overall rod. well balance, light, the lines flow through smoothly and it's Extremely sensitive. i own rods like steeze svf, dobyn champion extreme, and shimano cumara. i would put my two cashion rods along with those rods during money time. In my opinion these rods has better grips on the handle and more sensitivety than all my other high end rods. But for the price and back by a lifetime warranty you can't beat that.

From: Kevin: Northeast, Ohio

Comments: SENSITIVE!!!! really strong first fish caught weighed 6.8 penalty included dead! cuz i muscled it to the boat and i still won big fish!! love getting more now! and spinning models too!

From: Michael: Grantville, GA

Comments: The 7'6" Heavy is one of the most versitile rods I've ever owned ! I use it for big night spinnerbaits, flipping jigs, throwing medium sized swimbaits. I absolutely love it and will own more !

From: Chris: TN

Comments: Best flipping stick I have ever put in my hands!  Powerful, yet sensitive!  Match this rod with good quality flouro and tungsten weights and you will be amazed at the feel!  I have caught well over 300 bass on my 7'6 and put it through its paces and it still fishes like the first day I got it!

From: Tim: NC

Comments: I purchased a Cashion 7'11 Flipping stick and the sensitivity is terrific. Sometimes the added length will make the rod lose some sensitivity. However, not in this case. I also like the handle transmits every little vibration and had no problem with slippage when fishing in the rain with it.

From: Ed: Grayslake, IL

Comments: I absolutely love these rods, the handles are the best on the market.
