Comments: These are very standout rods. I saw some complaints with bubbles in the glue and uneven glue. This does not mean the rod is of low quality, it means they are made by hand with care one at a time right here at home... rather than cranked out in 20 seconds for 5$ a piece in some sweatshop in Korea (duckets). These rods also have unique tapers that make them feel like rods that cost twice as much; the 7' medium heavy can cast baits as light as 3/16 and as heavy as 3/4... that's true versatility. At the same time, the backbone comes in quicker on hookset than my 7'1 heavy loomis. The micro guides are much higher quality than what are out in duckets, carrot sticks, halos, etc. Everything on this rod screams quality, especially after you get used to the handle. The taper of these rods is my favorite thing about them, if you loose a fish on a jig with these rods it is 100%operator error, because that rod puts you in control. Buy one and quit sending your money overseas for mediocre rods!

Comments: These rods are awesome, I love the grip and the microguides are awesome. I have zero complaints about this rod. Ignore the naysayers, these are 180 bucks wells spent.

Comments: these rods are really light but are junk. they fall apart. complete waste of money
From: Mike: Cornelius, NC
Comments: These rods Are not broom sticks. i have 7Ft heav. its a good rod. But people lets not get carried away they are not loomis sensative. For the money they blow ducketts AWAY...No question about it.

Comments: I own a lot of rods and was a Cumara/Cumulus guy until I found these rods. They feel so amazingly light and sensitive....almost so much (as another person mentioned) that you are more careful with them than even more expensive rods.
Matt Cashion stood behind his rod when I had a tip snap off. As long as you get the right action rod (may want to check the Cashion site) and match it to your technique these are GREAT rods. I will be buying more of them for sure.
From: Dutin: SLC, UT
Comments: these rods seem high quality but for anything other than flipping/maybe tx rig they are very difficult. The mh feels like heavy and heavy is a broomstick. Impossible to cast cranks or spinnerbaits.
Comments: I have learned to love these rods. Little disapointed at first because I ordered a medium/heavy flipping stick and it was like a broom stick. I now use that rod for frogs and TN rigs and love it ! Bought 2 more since then and love them too. The handle is kinda over rated, but I don't hate it either. I've put these rods through some serious tests and they have passed all with ease. Haters are gonna hate. But in my opinion they are great rods
From: Dave: TN
Comments: Just turn away now..here's a real review. These grips are horrible, no positives about them. The tip of this rod wants to snap back to its natural position faster than I've ever seen before. I have personally broke a flipping stick in half on a 6lber. I have also seen a few friends set the hook and have multiple guides pop out. The company is one of the most unprofessional that I have seen...Just save up a bit and go check out some power tackle rods...I promise you won't regret it.

Comments: Grip is terribly uncomfortable, and it doesn't help at all with sensitivity....tried to make myself like these rods, but at some point I had to realize I didn't..
Comments: Truthfully haven't own or fished the two I own long enough to say for sure what I've got. Current impressions are they look and feel like the most expensive rods I own. I have a $450 kisler for comparison. They are bigtime light and yet so stiff with mh I wish I had ordered medium. Can't speak to durability, etc yet but I find myself being more careful with these than my other rods like you might try to be more of a gentleman if the lady is really fine.
From: David: TX
Comments: Sorry I returned it. I prefer the Duckette rod over this. The rod was not well built professionally. There's alot of glue (big bubble) around the guides. Also the blank was not coated properly. Not worth 180.00.

Comments: I just got my new 7'6" mh and a 6'9" mh cashion rods in about two weeks ago. I was skeptical at first when ordering it because this product was something new and different, but it also had very good reviews also so i went ahead and got it anyways. I took the rods out to a few local lakes to give it a test using some of my homemade jigs and cranks that has weights ranging from 1/4 to 1 oz. All i could say is WOW! what a great overall rod. well balance, light, the lines flow through smoothly and it's Extremely sensitive. i own rods like steeze svf, dobyn champion extreme, and shimano cumara. i would put my two cashion rods along with those rods during money time. In my opinion these rods has better grips on the handle and more sensitivety than all my other high end rods. But for the price and back by a lifetime warranty you can't beat that.

Comments: These rods are AWESOME! They are super sensitive, extremely light, and are very, very strong. The uni-directional carbon fiber blank really gives the rod a much better feel with a very soft and responsive tip action. I guarantee if you try these rods out you will find that the fast action of these cashion rods are much better than the fast action tips of other rods. This different "feel" of this rod is due to that uni-directional manufacturing process. The carbon Fiber grips also give the rod a better feel in your hand and they are a lot more dense than the grips of other rods that are made of cork or EVA foam. This rod has superior positioning of the micoguides, with most of the guides closer to the tip of the blank which allows very accurate casting with increased distance and greatly improved sensitivity. To top off all of these fantastic features, they also have a handy hook keeper. These rods are probably the best and finest rods I have ever seen and felt in a long time, and believe me, I have seen and used many other rods before. Do yourself favor, pick some up and try em out. You won't be disappointed. I PROMISE!
Comments: SENSITIVE!!!! really strong first fish caught weighed 6.8 penalty included dead! cuz i muscled it to the boat and i still won big fish!! love getting more now! and spinning models too!
From: Michael: Grantville, GA
Comments: The 7'6" Heavy is one of the most versitile rods I've ever owned ! I use it for big night spinnerbaits, flipping jigs, throwing medium sized swimbaits. I absolutely love it and will own more !
From: Chris: TN
Comments: Best flipping stick I have ever put in my hands! Powerful, yet sensitive! Match this rod with good quality flouro and tungsten weights and you will be amazed at the feel! I have caught well over 300 bass on my 7'6 and put it through its paces and it still fishes like the first day I got it!
From: Tim: NC
Comments: I purchased a Cashion 7'11 Flipping stick and the sensitivity is terrific. Sometimes the added length will make the rod lose some sensitivity. However, not in this case. I also like the handle transmits every little vibration and had no problem with slippage when fishing in the rain with it.
From: Ed: Grayslake, IL
Comments: I absolutely love these rods, the handles are the best on the market.
