Cashion Spinning Rods - $179.99
The Cashion Spinning Rods are handcrafted one-rod-at-a-time in Raleigh, NC using carbon fiber blanks and only the finest components. Lightweight and powerful, the uni-directional manufacturing process of the blanks furnishes unbeatable sensitivity and responsiveness. Premium Fuji Micro Guides also further reduce weight and offer increased sensitivity with improved casting distance and accuracy. Fuji Blank Exposed reel seats put you in direct contact with the rod blank, and each rod is equipped with a carbon fiber split grip handle that also further transmits vibrations from the rod blank to your fingertips. Carbon fiber actually provides a stronger, lighter, more robust alternative to common foam or cork handles, while also furnishing a comfortable texture with plenty of grip. Offering the performance you need for light lines and big fish, the Cashion Spinning Rods are built light and strong to stand the test of time and meet the demands of serious anglers.
Backed by Limited Lifetime Warranty. Rod must be registered with Cashion within 30 days of purchase.

Comments: This is an outstanding rod. Very sensitive and sturdy. I assure you, from reading the previous post about the duds you received, if you were to send Cashion an email it would go directly to the owner and he would do whatever it takes to take care of you. I switched EVERY rod to Cashion for three simple reasons. They are local, the customer service is outstanding, and they are super sensitive and light without sacrificing strength.

Comments: First generation of this rod was good. Not great good. After that broke and I got the replacement for 40$ it sucked. The quality went down. The patern on the handle was crooked on multiple rods and there finish was crap with pointy pieces sticking in your hand. Brought that back and got another new one. The third new one sucked too and the reel seat spins around the rod. Someone is cutting corners in build quality. Garbage

Comments: I bought one of these rods (7'6" medium spinning) at the Sportsmen's show in Harrisburg PA last winter. Dr. Cashion was maning the booth and he convinced me to buy the rod. This is my best rod, not my most expensive, but by far my best. I was concerned at first because the rod is so light that it might not handle big fish. No need for concern, not only does it handle large bass but it was tested on accidental big pike catches as well. Rod is excellent and is equal to rods costing twice as much.
