Cocoons eyewear ranks as one of the top selling over prescription sunglasses in the world today. The idea behind the Cocoons line is to protect your eyes and your prescription eyewear from wind, blowing sand and dust, rain and sun providing you with comfort so you can focus on what you're doing. The combination of brow bar, front and side shield lenses, and underside scoops provides you with much more protection from glare and harmful UV light reflecting off the water than conventional sunglasses.
Cocoons feature the Polaré lens system. Extremely lightweight and scratch resistant, these lenses eliminate 100% of damaging UVA and UVB light and are polarized to allow your eyes to cut through glare to see more clearly and accurately, especially below the surface of the water. The flexible hypoallergenic nylon frames are so tough they are covered by a limited lifetime warranty and the temples can be easily contoured to create a secure, comfortable, custom fit. Every Cocoons eyewear comes with a zippered, protective Neoprene case and a Cocoons Duracloth cleaning cloth to keep your lenses clean and clear. Now you can have accurate, optically correct sunglasses, even if you wear prescription glasses, for a fraction of the cost of prescription sunglasses. The convenience of keeping your Cocoons on the boat at all times, ready for use, instead of being forgotten at home is more than worth the cost of the glasses.
The Slim Line Cocoons are the leader in the Cocoons collection. These Cocoons will comfortably fit over 60% of all prescription eyewear. The Slim Line will fit frames not exceeding 133 mm wide x 39 mm high (5 1/4"x 1 1/2")

More From Cocoons Sunglasses
Comments: I have a couple pairs of these sunglasses; with the amber and yellow lenses. I wear prescription glasses; and wear the Cocoons over them. I've had prescription polarized sunglasses in the past, and they just don't block the light like true fishing glasses do. The Cocoons block the light very well, are VERY durable; and affordable. I've had the two pairs I have now for many years. I wear them every time I go fishing. I plan on getting a pair of copper lenses soon. Also, my dad wears Cocoons as well. He does not wear prescription glasses. He's owned many of the more expensive glasses, including some of the newer WileyXs; and actually prefers the Cocoons over all of them. They may not look as "cool" or as flashy as others; but they work very well on the water where it counts.
