Overview
Taking surface disruption to the extreme, the Crock-O-Gator Buzzbaits deliver a boisterous topwater presentation that is sure to get bass fired-up – and that’s no crock. With each rotation of the premium buzz blade, the Crock-O-Gator Buzzbaits emit a steady and distinguished knocking acoustic as the aluminum makes contact with the specially designed flat head.
When a less intrusive presentation is desired, a small tweak to the wire prevents the blade from making contact and creates a more traditional buzzbait presentation. Additionally, adjusting the wire to the left or the right will give the Crock-O-Gator Buzzbaits a correlating orientation that can be used to your advantage when fishing around steep bluffs and boat docks.

Comments: This definitely has a unique sound but requires frequent tuning to keep the blade hitting the head. I like the compact design and it surfaces quick. Recently I was having just a so so day at LOZ, water was 53 degrees, and I decided to throw this. I had three solid fish in less than an hour to end the day. I like a Zoom split tail for a trailer.

Comments: Fresh off s kayak tournament win at Pomme De Terre Lake in Missouri where I threw the 3/4 oz head knocker all day. Everyone around me was struggling for bites but I kept slinging the head knocker and the big bass loved its unique sound. I've caught my biggest bass using this lure. I highly recommend you to give this Lure a chance. I always use a trailer hook on my buzzbait as well. This lure will put the big ones in the boat. Tight Lines

Comments: Love when guides and guys sponsored by the company give an honest review...Unfortunately I cannot concur. Wire comes loose from the head way too easily. Skirts are way too flimsy and do not hold up. BUT, for the cheaper price, this may be your bait...Not for me..Several out there better for sure. I fish lake of the ozarks and I will go for the Chatterbuzz, made in Indiana ...Not sure where it is now, but Im sure it can be found on facebook, ebay or the internet somewhere, even the boogerman was better than this with even with the higher cost.

Comments: Absolutely love these! The flat heads plane very easily and you can really keep them up on top at slower speeds that normal. The skirts also offer a different profile than the normal 'buzz bait'. You can set them up to 'clack' or not to. Definitely need a few to have a full topwater arsenal!

Comments: The Head Knocker Buzzbait by Crock-O-Gator has been a Buzzbait in my arsenal for a very long time now. I have used the same one for over two seasons before the bait was gone but she still ran true.
The quality of this bait is top notch. The skirt does not tangle in the blade and I can bend the wire to or from the head to allow for different sounds or no sound at all. Quickly out of the box it squeals and that confidence for me. The planing head allows you to get the bait on top quick and get the most coverage out of every cast. The wire is strong and durable. If you are looking for THE BUZZBAIT this is the ONE. In my opinion it is the best. The number one thing is that it is 100% USA made! Each bait is personally hand tuned by a renown Ozark fisherman. From 50degree water in the spring till below 50degrees in the fall/winter big bass pounce on this bait.

Comments: Not worth the Money - Poor quality - This bait did not hold up after purchase. The wire came loose from the head on two I purchased, and the loop cuts the line, so I switched to braid and that did no better...What good does a unique sound do if the bait cuts the line. Skirts are poorly constructed and do not hold up...Additionally, the hooks are of poor quality and do not stay sharp, Good luck if you like them, Not for me, wish I could return them.

Comments: The tink-tink-tink sound this thing emits calls them up from the depths. I really appreciate the looped line tie and the compactness of the wire arm keeps it from bending too terribly/makes it stout. Planes well with that flat head. It has somewhat of a baitkeeper but wish it was a little more grabby. I remove the skirt and add grubs/swimbaits to fit water clarity. My favorite thus far over Cavitron.

Comments: This bait is very good but it is also very bad. The good...it catches fish and it cast well. The bad part lies in the fact that the skirts fall off easily and the wire is to thin. After you catch a fish or two, the wire warps and it is very hard to get the bait to swim as it did originally. Maybe I am not the best at bending the thing back in to shape but, the fact is you will be doing a lot of work to keep this thing consistent. I have used other baits that hold up much better.
