Daiwa Ballistic Casting Rods
The Daiwa Ballistic Casting Rods feature Daiwa’s latest innovations in blank technology - Bias X-Torque Graphite and Glatech blanks. Daiwa’s Bias X-Torque Graphite blanks, used for the topwater, worm & jig, frogging and flipping rods, are composed of multiple layers of graphite, bias graphite and high-modulus graphite, depending on the rod’s intended use. The proprietary blends provide added sensitivity and power toward the tip end of the rods, and maximum power and toughness as you move toward the butt end and the handle. The cranking and spinnerbait models, on the other hand, feature revolutionary Glatech blanks, which are composed of inner circular layers of graphite combined with multiple outer layers of resilient glass. The rods feature more glass toward the tip end of the rod for added flexibility and toughness, and a higher graphite to glass ratio toward the butt end of the rod for increased power and toughness where you need it most. Fine tuned for specific applications, each rod also includes lightweight Fuji Aluminum Guides with super hard Oxide inserts for maximum durability and reduced friction. Split grip handles complete with EVA HD Grips balance out each rod, and premium Fuji reel seats provide direct access to the rod blank. Go ballistic with the new Daiwa Ballistic Casting Rods.

Comments: Bought the topwater/twitchin rod---though there is nothing on the rod that designates it. I like what I see so far. Would like to see a 6-6 model in a med and med hvy introduces as a jerkbait rod
Comments: I own 6 Ballistics..2 of the big cranking rods and 4 of the bottom bouncing varieties. I love the worming and jigging rods..the 6'9 and 7'1 rods are well worth the money. 1st trip out pitching to the edge of pads I had a over run and was in the middle of picking it out when I felt the tap....so I was quite surprised on the sensitivity. I did/do not enjoy the big cranking sticks...they are tip heavy and I have issues hitting the sweet spot when casting...when I do hit it they go a mile but I am much to inconsistent and when I get on the water I want to fish..not learn how to toss DD22's on these sticks....I have 3 more on order..2 frog rods and the spinner bait rod...Well worth the money in my opinion.
