Daiwa Ballistic Spinning Rods - $49.88
Boasting Daiwa's latest innovations in blank technology, the Daiwa Ballistic Spinning Rods feature Daiwa's advanced Bias X-Torque Graphite construction. Composed of multiple layers of graphite and bias graphite in proprietary technique specific blends, the tip sections are composed of graphite, and the lower portion of the blanks feature an outer layer of bias graphite fiber with a graphite core, while the butt sections are composed of graphite. This provides added sensitivity and power toward the tip end of the rods, and maximum power and toughness as you move toward the butt end where you need it most.
Each rod in the Ballistic Spinning Series also includes lightweight Fuji Aluminum Guides with super hard Oxide inserts for maximum durability and reduced friction. Split grip handles complete with EVA HD Grips balance out each rod, and premium Fuji reel seats provide a secure lightweight base for your reel. The Daiwa Ballistic Spinning Rods - go ballistic!
Comments: i live on a lake and fish 3-5 days a week. I have over 30 rods and reels. I'm a huge crankbait fisherman and jordered the 7' 11" to pull my deep divers. It is the most tip heavy rod i own. I fished it once and took it off. It now sits in my storage building where i plan to sell it in the next garage sale for 5 dollars. The Ducket 7' 11" is the only way to go!

Comments: I was a little shakey about buying this because of the bad reviews, but I personally think its a good rod for under 70$. I used it last night for the first night on the pier and caught 8 lizard fish and on white Croker and it was super sensitive! Look forward for using it bass fishing

Comments: I now know why this rod is on sale. It is way too heavy and the guides are huge. The rod does fish nicely but I was personally disappointed. My friends thought it was great but they dont fish as much as me and have never used a quality rod. Great for a beginner rod that is on sale but besides that spend some more money on a quality rod. As for saying it pairs well with a ballistic maybe color wise but quality wise it does that reel an injustice. I wouldnt put my lexa on this rod..

Comments: Agree with Moon from Dallas, however, even the sale price is too much. Bought the ML spin when on sale....The guides are way too big, compares to a salt water spin. Weight of the rod is heavy. Not a finesse rod at all. I was considering returning it, but with 4 sons I guess it will sit in the corner as a spare rod. There are several other rods under $100 that put this rod to shame. This rod should be discontinued!
From: Tom: Somers Point
Comments: Current discount/liquidation price is about right, but original price over $120 doesn't worth it. This ballistic is only partial graphite. Another $50-60 more, the discontinued Fuego rod is much better - lifetime warranty, fully biased graphite. Perhaps the worst was the work quality of the ballistic reels. Daiwa tried to sell a $199 spinning ballistic reel, made in China, with poor paint job and poor assembly quality. I bought 2 4000 ballistic when it first released, they don't even have same color shades, and the reel is far worse than Fuego it was discontinuing.

Comments: awesome rod for $100. Pairs perfectly with the Ballistic reel.
