Customer Reviews

Comments: I purchased the 2000 size to put on a 7'01" med/light rod I have & the match was great! I landed a 7.5 and an 8.5 largemouth on 6lb P-Line with no problem. The drag worked flawlessly & the reel is very smooth. Best bang for your buck! I will definitely purchase more of this model.

Comments: My Exceler spinning reel I purchased from TW has become my favorite reel. It helped me land a 7.5 and an 8.5 largemouth bass within an hour of each other on 6lb P-Line. The reel is smooth casting & reeling not to mention the price. $79.99!

Comments: Just got this reel from tackle warehouse, have not used it yet. I put line on it & on my pole, feels very good. I can already tell this will be one of my go to setups.

Comments: This reel is awesome! Bought one a couple weeks ago and looking to get another one great for fishing finesse applications like drop shots and shaky heads have had a couple days catching 40 fish and it has held up well. Very smooth and in my opinion better than shimano spinning mostly because they make a 2000 and 1500 size. Nothing negative about these reels and really love them!

Comments: Super better than the old version. Awesome reel for the money. Sorry fellas but Daiwa makes a MUCH better spinning reel than Shimano. Yup, I just said that.

Comments: For the broke college tournament angler (such as myself lol) the price is very appealing. I was pretty impressed with this reel! Granted it doesn't compare to my Daiwa Ballistic, but for the price point it's at I would definitely recommend it. It's nice knowing that I don't have to break the bank to get a reel that holds up to abuse.
