Customer Reviews

Comments: I have this reel in the 2508RH model and couldn't be happier! Phenomenal reel on par with the Steez with really the main difference being the Steez is about 2+ oz. lighter. The Certate is extremely smooth, handles 16# Sunline FC with ease with an excellent drag system, needs no upgrade! I fish Calif. Delta waters and have only had the reel a couple trips now but have 4 fish between 5 - 6# on it and, out of curiosity, horsed them in, without the slightest problem. Have been using it a lot and have caught lots of fish with this setup already. This reel, line and Dobyns 765SF rod are great!

Comments: I've been a Daiwa fan for years and this is as good as it gets. True, one could aquire a Steez or an Exist, but at what cost? The most advanced technology Daiwa has is here for a bargain price.

Comments: just got my Certate 2000, overnighted, LOVE TW shipping! i have 2 fuegos and a ballistic, i thought those reels were smooth, there is NO comparison between them and the certate. granted i havent had it on the water yet, but i am already impressed with the reel!

Comments: wow super powerful and super smooth even under heavy loads, never thought a reel could be this good, my sustain mg isn't even close to this, what a shock this reel is to use. my buddy that uses two stellas thinks the certate is slightly better and I agree. wow!
