Customer Reviews

Comments: i got one of these as a gift and figured it wouldn't amount to much but an extra for when i take people out...i was wrong.  I now have 4 of them on all of my spinning rods.  Great rod for the $$.  smooth and light.  haven't had a problem with anti reverse, maybe i got lucky, maybe the other were just unlucky, not sure.  i would recommned to anyone especially for the price.

Comments: As mentioned before i had problems with the anti-reverse.  I traded it out for a new reel and had the exact same problem.  I eventually returned it and replaced it with a Shimano solstace.

Comments: Not sure if I got a bad on or what, but the "infinite anti reverse" didnt seem to want to play along. It would only work about 1/3 of the time. Some times it would only have a little back play, sometimes it would spin 85 mph backwards. Gonna send in for a replacement and see if it was just a bad reel.

Comments: Paired the 2500 with a Abu Garcia Vengeance 6'6" ML with 6 pound mono. Smooth, good value, compact, sweet design. What more could you ask for?

Comments: I got the Laguna 3000 paired up with a Berkely lightening Rod Shock 7'0 Med lt, I plan to use it for finesse. This is actually a pretty small reel, close to a micro reel. Its a great combo, I put 10 lb Copolimer liine it, because i wanted something with a lot of stretch. Best spinning ciombo ebver, i'm more of a baitcast guy, but this iis gr4eat for finesse, its always in my boat!
