Comments: Just received the 7'1" heavy got it out of tube put a reel on tied on a jig to try out in the back yard. Felt good, light nice action. Grabbed the jig and pulled on it to feel the action and the tip broke off like a pretzel. Hated it because this rod felt good but its on the way back to be exchanged for a different brand.

Comments: The rod itself is great... Sensitivity, lightweight, great blank finish... I returned mine because the rod butt ripped off from about 4 trips out. I didn't abuse it at all. This was after the reel holder tightener grip came off... Loved the rod and it's action but the small details that failed, killed it for me.

Comments: I love rods with micro-guides. DAIWA finally offered a rod with micros', maybe to test the market. I got the 7' MH for spinner baits and the 7'2" M for long casting top water walking baits. Both rods perfom excellent!! Spinner bait rod in light and well ballanced, great for making long acurate cast and so sensitive you can feel the blades thumping. Top water rod is very nice as well. Light, balanced, great action for walking baits and the handle is shorter so it won't get in the way when working top water baits. If you want to toss a top water ALL DAY, this is the rod. Hook keeper positioned in the right place as well not to get snagged in your boat's rod locker. A MUST BUY!!!
