Daiwa Millionaire-S Reel

If you’re looking for uncompromising performance at a price point that’ll fit any budget, look no further than the Daiwa Millionaire-S Reel. Designed with a traditional round baitcasting profile, the Daiwa Millionaire-S Reel is bursting with features that are usually accompanied with an astronomical price tag. The lightweight frame is machined from a solitary chunk of aluminum for maximum rigidity with minimal flexing. For never-ending casts, the Daiwa Millionaire-S Reel employs an exclusive Free Floating Spool technology that allows the spool rotate without any friction from its pinion gears. The Millionaire-S Reel also offers an easily accessible Centriflex spool brake, so you can dial in the perfect anti-backlashing setting for your style of casting. Additionally, the Daiwa Millionaire-S Reel features Infinite Anti-Reverse, which creates solid hook sets, prevents shock to the reel, and reduces handle slap-back. Made for pulling double-duty in fresh and saltwater, the Daiwa Millionaire-S Reel is able to stand up to corrosion with the help of an anodized coating. The Daiwa Millionaire-S Reel is proof that you don’t have to pay top dollar to get high-end performance.

Customer Reviews

Comments: ok reel. has only 3 bearings so isn't very smooth. I use mine for cranking but my friend uses his for swimbaits. not the most reliable reel. mine broke after 1 1/2 years.

Comments: I love this reel. It works great on big calicos and stingrays! Definitely buying more! Holds up well with braid too!

From: Andreu: santa Monica, Ca!Usa

Comments: i bought one of these reel's year's ago when they first came out. i use it for cranking  and  it work's like it is brand new. this reel prove's that they don't have to cost $300.00 and have 10 bearing's to be great. other than a few cosmetic change's, i suspect these newer models are as good. mine look's like the garcia 5000's only it's silver in color. in appearance, their exact. i agree with nick on all account's!

From: Wes: Salinas, CA

Comments:I've had one of these reels for 5 years and thrown nothing but deep cranks, mid cranks, and shallow cranks on it. its a pretty tough reel and I've landed numerous big fish on it. it developed a little noise over the past 5 years but I think most any reel would. The Millionare will straight up fling a series 6 or a bd7 out of sight! Great value if you cant afford one of the high dollar daiwa's. I think even long experienced crankers would appreciate a lower dollar reel to abuse with the hard pulling torture that crankin all day inflicts on a reel. smooth casts like a dream and tough with a smooth drag!
