Comments: I needed a medium/medium light spinning rod for small 2.25" tubes and light jigs in the early spring so I had some money left on a gift cert. and decided to try the Procyon rod as it has a 5 yr. warranty. I put a 2000 size reel on the 7' ML rod and it is only a tiny bit tip heavy as it balances out right on the reel clamping screw. The upper blank is unsanded as you can see and feel the way the graphite was rolled and the guides aren't great but they look good on the rod and will be ok for bass fishing. The rod is also pretty light and the build quality is just fantastic and not just for the price but any rod with this build quality would be excellent, all the guides are lined up perfectly as not a single one out of allignment or crooked. If this rod performs half as good as it looks and feels I'll be very, very, very happy as it does feel fantastic.
