Comments: This reel is GREAT! i paired it up with my glx jig rod and i can cast a 2 ounce dirty jig a mile and fish 50 foot drop offs with ease, the drag system is AWESOME two!!!!
From: Steven: Gilbert, AZ 4/16/14
Comments: My go to reel for throwing the A Rig! I like 65 lb braid for my A Rig and this handles it with ease. A nice lower gear ratio for slow rolling the rig over deep grass.
From: G Man: A Rig Central
Comments: This reel is amazing for cranking a 25+ foot crank better than any steez or shimano on the market. Buy on of these and you will have a lot of time with birds nests.
From: Will: Alpahretta, GA
Comments: All jokes aside a good spincast reel can have a place with serious bass fishermen. I used to struggle throwing finesse texas rigs on a baitcast (1/16 oz tungsten weight, size 2 hook) Now i use an abumatic with 6lb cajun red and a 6' graphite shimano baitcast rod. This has reduced many of the headaches of trying to use finesse baits with a baitcast reel. recently caught some nice bass using this setup and a weightless finesse worm.

Comments: this is my go to reel for pike fishing. I have it matched up with my Irod gensis and its amazing. I can cast big swim baits at least 200 yards. I ended up throwing out my t3 because this reel put it to shame!
From: Dan: Rome, NY
Comments: This is a decent reel for kids and a reel that I will be buying soon for my cousin. A few other reviews below are trying to be funny so please disregard. If anyone is looking at this for a child it is easily one of the best spincast reels out there trust me.
From: Sam: USA
Comments: i reccomend this reel to anyone who wants to take their fishing to the next level, pair it up with a st. croix legend extreme and you got the best combo for froggin' ever just use 2 lb mono to haul oout the pigs. i can cast this baby as far as i want wish my steez and mgx would be like this, getting more soon and if you got all these lined up on the deck of your bass boat before a tourney you will be the envy of all the others
Comments: This was the only small reel that I could find with a decent ratio for my five year old son. All of the other reels are 3:8, which are junk for reeling in the hogs... Just sayin.
From: Paul: Orono, MN
Comments: I ordered this reel biased on the reviews on this site. It is smooth cranking and casts well, but the button for casting is high on the body. I got this reel for my four year old son, and the button is to high for him to reach easily. This reel is very heavy as well. I was surprised at the heft of it, and it makes a small rod very aft heavy.
From: John: Groton, CT
Comments: Best reel ever!!!!! Way better than every other casting reel out there. I have this reel on all of my poles!!
Comments: Picked one up for my 4 year old son and it's actually a pretty nice reel for a spincast. Previously he was using the abumatic spincast but it went "overboard". That thing was a piece of junk anyways, the handle kept coming loose and falling off.
From: Frank: GA
Comments: Turns out people who frequent tacklewarehouse have a sense sense of humor. It's just a cheap spincast, don't bother with it unless you want a cheap spincast. I have used one actually and it wasn't too bad for a cheap reel. But still junk. It wont compare to any baitcast reel sold on tacklewarehouse.
From: Troll Hunter: Land O Lakes
Comments: OMG !! amazing for those monster swimbaits ! iuse 25 lb big game on this baby it casts a mile ! i will be buying more of these !!!!
From: Ben: CA
Comments: I started using this reel in tourneys last year... omgggggg soooo smooth and casts a jig a mile. its a must have reel in your boat.
From: Ben: San Diego
Comments: Are the previous reviews referring to this reel? This is a spincast reel and it sure sounds like the reviews are talking about reels that compete with high end baitcasters like the Steez, Type R, etc. If the previous reviews are correct, then I need to buy a boatload of these. No more line issues and a pocket full of money.
From: Bob: Texas
Comments: better than my steez, type R px, stella ,and megabass reels. Why didnt i just buy these
From: Stephen: AL
Comments: great reel! mine is paired with a g loomis NRX with 50 pound braid and is great for jigs
Comments: Best reel on the the market. I think this reel is up there with the shimanos its smooth and easy to use i have had mine for a while. this reel has the value of 100 dollars. get some!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
