The Daiwa Steez SVF Graphite Spinning Rods are in a class by themselves when it comes to material and construction. Daiwa's exclusive bias graphite fiber blank construction delivers incredible sensitivity, flexibility and strength - with virtually zero blank twist. Cut-proof and corrosion-free Fuji Titanium framed SiC guides are also spaced perfectly to maximize sensitivity and fish fighting capabilities. Air-Beam reel seats also minimize unnecessary weight, and to make each rod even lighter, Daiwa has incorporated non-slip Air-Foam grips that are noticeably lighter than cork and EVA foam. If you are looking for an extra sensitive ultra lightweight rod - the Daiwa Steez SVF Graphite Spinning Rods are a perfect choice.
* Machined aluminum fore-screw nut
* Laser-engraved butt cap

Comments: Rod was extremly light. But.....I snapped the rod tip on a hook set first time out. 8 pound line drop shoting and the tip broke setting the hook on a 1 pound fish. Sent it back. No thanks.

Comments:I have fished with G. Loomis rods for years and when I purchased the Daiwa Steez rod and fished with it, I will never use anything but. This rod has it all; lightness, sensitivity, and is super strong.
