From: Jacob: LA
Comments: awsome reel for the price i got mine to learn how to baitcast and im very inpressed with its smooth casting and with how easy it is to cast i only 9 and i can easily cast this and not backlash it is an awsome reel although it makes noise from time to time but nothing much
From: Jacob: TX
Comments: great reel if your starting to use baitcasters this is the one! If you say its a bad reel because its plastic then your just trying to screw with every one. supper smooth too! all around GREAT REEL!.
From: JP: St Peters, MO
Comments: Used my friend's Strikeforce the other day only for the reason of testing out a new rod. I was impressed with this reel. I asked him what did this reel run for, 120? When he said about 50, I was impressed. Although several years old, felt as smooth as a new reel. Goes to show, if you take care of your stuff, it'll last a long time.
Comments: I got one of these a few years ago as an introduction into baitcasters, and I still use it from time to time. I love it. It's noisy, sure, and at least with mine now, a slight tweak of the drag may or may not cause the spool to stop winding, but for the money and the amount of fish it has caught, this is one of the, if not the best 'cheap' baitcaster reels out there.
From: Eric: MI
Comments: Very good reel! bought one bout a month ago! best reel i own fer the price!
From: Eli: TX
Comments: Very good reel for the money. I've had mine for nearly 2 years and it's been left in the back of the truck through ice storms and rain. Makes a little noise at times but nothing that a little rem oil won't fix. The handles are my favorite part of this reel.
From: Jake: Memphis, TN
Comments: It's a nice little reel for the money. Bought a couple awhile back to fill out some extra rods I had laying around. Probably the best sub $50 baitcaster out there. Does feel cheap though (plastic-y) but what do you expect for the money?
From: Sam: Chicago, IL
Comments: these reels are cheap, made of plastic very disappointed never buying daiwa products again!!
From: Bill: TX
Comments: got this reel as my first baitcaster, and it was easy to learn with it. I now own many higher end reels and I still use this because it is very reliable and tough!
From: Austin: Texas
Comments: I got this as a backup reel and i am very pleased. It casts great and allows for minimal if any backlash. Great reel and for an amazing price.
From: Trevor: Florida, USA
Comments: This reel is great I have had it for around 2 years and it has never broke down i have made changes in the bearings and put a new handle on it to speed it up the only thing that i can say is the drag is a lttle weak but who cares this is good reel and wouldn't turn anyone down from it.
From: Nic: Farminton, IL
Comments: Great reel for the price. Mine is on it's 2nd season and performs great. I fish an average of 8 times a month (March-Nov). Hardly ever backlashes with minimal friction or magnetic backlash settings. Would highly recommend for the beginner.
From: Bart: Indiana, USA
Comments: Okay reel, but not reliable in the long run. If you could, buy the older daiwa procaster 100h on sale in here for 40 bucks, much better reel and much more reliable.
From: David: Murrieta, CA
Comments:Great reel, smooth and no back lash. I'm buying more of this reel.
