Comments: to me this rod just feels dead. there are alot better rods out there at this price point. even the cheaper garcia vendetta rods are far more sensitive, but hey it does look better than any rod i own.

Comments: I bought the 6'10''MH for an all around rod & its the best rod I own so far. Its super light but so strong. I love to throw soft baits a lot & it performs tremendously. I have it paired with the Daiwa lexa 100HSL, a great combo for me. Both rod & reel are extremely light for fishing all day. Highly recommend this rod.

Comments: One of the best rods I have ever used. It's a little bit pricy but worth the money I think. I was in bass pro looking at the rods and a worker told be to hold the rod like I was fishing and then he held the end of the rod. He told me to pull up as hard as I could. The rod didn't snap. By far one of the best matches for the tatula. Those two together a a deadly combo.

Comments: I've been using the Phenix rods for years now, and as soon as I ran across the Daiwa Tatulas, the rod and reel combo works like butter, super light and super durable, I can say that i've been able to feel the bass biting easier on the Tatula than on a Phenix, allowing me to land a lot more fish since the transition to Tatulas. Daiwa beats phenix in price and quality, pick one up today and feel for yourself how it feels to fish a Tatula.

Comments: Great all around rod. I have 2 of the 7'1" medium heavy fast action. I have thrown everything from a spinnerbait and half ounce jig head with a 5"swimbait right down to a weightless senko and they are great...I did break one just recently but it was my fault more than the rod's. and yes it is supposed to have a rough texture. Great all around rod and look forward to getting more.

Comments: the 7ft ML is the best shallow crank bait rod ever. Randy Howell did awesome job designing this rod. It is a little stiffer thin the ML's I'm use to and I like it a lot more.

Comments: I have been a dedicated Team Diawa fan for years. When I checked out the new Tatula baitcasting rod, I loved the weight, feel, and especially the handle. I was on my 2nd outing when I set the hook on a nice fish, and the rod snapped about 14 inches from the tip. I don't know if it was a lemon or bad design, but I exchanged it for a St. Croix rod. I hope my Tatula crankbait reel holds up better.

Comments: I just got this rod for Christmas and I am very impressed. You can tell that it has a lot of backbone and that it is a quality rod. Can't wait to get it out on the water.

Comments: Nice rod for the price. Light weight and enough backbone to get the job done.I use the 6'10 Med hvy for throwing big plastics. One question though? Is the rod suppose to have a rough texture to it?
From: Mike: NormanPark,Ga
Comments: Fished four days at the Cal Delta with the Tatula Frog Rod paired with Tatula Type-R 8.1:1. Great rod! Great combo!! Very light weight and well balanced. Tip is soft enough to make frog walk in open water ez. Enough back bone to set the hook on the big ones too. I think this rod will really excel when tossing buzz baits and toad baits. Guess I will see in Sept when I fish the US Open with it. Would not be surprised if Daiwa raises the prices on the Tatula series. That good!!
