Overview

The popular Damiki Hydra series has evolved.  Now featuring twin grub tails at the non-tentacle end, the Damiki Hydra Evolution still comes equipped with its signature 24 Hydra ball tipped tentacles. The balls at the end of each tentacle allow them to float up and fan out, which combined with the new twin grub tails creates a deadly spider grub-like presentation second-to-none. A great choice on a round head jig or Damiki’s Mausrin Jig Head, the Damiki Hydra Evolution features a thinner body than the original and can be rigged in all the same ways you would a traditional spider grub.

Comments: This bait is awesome. They are a bit frail. Its pretty much 1 or 2 fish & done with this bait depending on the size of the fish. But it is absolutely worth the money. These are fish catching machines! I have caught nearly all of my best fish this year on this bait. Buy this bait.

Comments: This is a decent bait. Main problem is that they tend to tear up fairly easy and are hard to keep pinned on a jighead. The Yamamoto hula grub is more durable.

Comments: I caught two small mouth on my fist outing with this bait using the watermelon candy. I rigged it with an Owner 3/16 oz stand up jig.  The action on the vertical drop is perfect.  They are a bit slimy and this makes it hard to screw to the jig head but I found it worth it because of the way it stands up a bit and is weedless.

Comments: Love this bait. First time fishing one of these i landed a 4lb bass within 5 minutes of fishing. Funny thing about it is i found it floating up to shore and threw it on my hook. When i found out what the name of it was, i ordered a few packs of these and been catching bass since . Great action and the bass love these. Texas rigging the Green Pumpkin is the way to go with a 1/4oz tungsten bullet and a 3/0 wide gap hook.
