Danny Joe's Original Floating Worm
If you have ever used any type of "Floating Worm Technique" you should know that it all started when Danny Joe won the first ever "BASS National Federation Championship" in July of 1988 on a "Wacky Rigged" pink floating worm. This win qualified him to fish in the 1988 BASS MASTER CLASSIC world championship. This series of events created a huge market for bright colored floating worms which forced Danny Joe into the tackle business. First he had a worm mold custom built to his specification and went on to create many of the now popular colors that are manufactured industry wide.
