Comments: Many uses for these pegs. Another way is if I don't like the keepers on a lure I will cut them off and slip these on the hook shank with a narrow point toward the hook. Small for light wire, mediums for thicker gauge hooks.

Comments: Love these. The smallest size is tiny (like a regular bobber stop) but the largest size is pretty big. I use them in all sizes for things like protecting the knot on a free rig or keeping a trailer hook in place. The large ones are also great for keeping a hook positioned correctly on smaller plastics. Overall, very happy with them.

Comments: Love these things. They aren't perfect, but work as good as anything I've tried. If you don't pick the right size for your hook they will slide over time. But they still work great and extend the life of a lot of baits. I find myself using them more and more. I use them on flipping jigs for chunk style trailers, on swim jigs and chatterbaits to hold my swimbait trailers in place, and especially on offset hooks for texas rigs. I'm a fan.

Comments: I can't recommend these as soft plastic keepers as they slip too easily on every hook finish and wire size that I tried once wet and they also quickly discolor the soft plastics even in areas that they barely touch once wetted too. As a knot protector though I would say that they are great, but be fore-warned as another reviewer strongly noted here, they are extremely small as the small size is about a 1/16 of an inch wide and the large is just barely 1/4 of an inch wide if that or of equal size in the nearest millimeter.

Comments: I purchased these because of the pictures.i wanted something that would add a cone shape to the top of my texas rig. I figured adding a cone shape to the tip of the worm would help it go threw weeds easier with out grabbing then on the way. These fit the idea..problem, way way to small.. these are awesome for what they are designed to do..knot protection or to keep your worm from sliding down the hook..but not for what I needed/wanted. I ordered the small and they are small..i think the large would even be small..they are tiny

Comments: I used these awesome little jewels as a knot protector for my jigs and shakey heads. I would just slide one on to my line and tie my knot and wet the knot with saliva and slide this down over it. I was using half of a weight peg but this makes it so much easier. It was hard for the peg to slide over the knot because the primary purpose was to pinch tightly on the line. The hole on this device is slightly larger making is a breeze to thread onto my line and slide over my knots. If you fish around a lot of rock, gravel, or muscle beds, and you experience alot of problems with breaking off at the lure try this tip with the decoy versatile keeper and it will improve the life of you knot and save you money on baits.
