Comments: I recently purchased 7-8 heavy flipping stick and I got to say wow what a awesome rod for punching & flipping heavy vegetation. The rod is very well balanced for pitching heavy weights. The guys at Denali done a great job on this rod. If you like punching heavy weights you got to get this rod!

Comments: As an avid tournament angler, I find the Denali Kovert series to be one of my favorite rods in my boat. From its lightweight and sensitive IM8 blank to its comfortable and stylish skeleton reel seat, the rod not only feels and looks great, it is a hardcore fishing machine. All of this followed by a very reasonable price tag is why I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-rounded rod to fill any of their fishing needs.

Comments: I absolutely love the Denali Kovert 6'9 Spinnerbait rod. It's very sensitive, light weight, and has great balance. I've been using this rod for two years now and I'd recommend it to anyone that likes throwing a spinnerbait. It's hands down one of the best rods out there and it's very affordable. Thanks Denali!

Comments: The Denali Kovert has quickly become my go to rod. I switched over from another brand and I'll never go back. I have almost every rod in this line up and not one of them has disappointed me. The worm/ jig rods are extremely light weight and sensitive while maintaining a ton of backbone for jaw breaking hooksets. The semi micro guides are attractive and functional. Paired with an Ardent Apex Elite baitcast reel the balance and feel is impeccable. The quality of Denali is second to none. Give them a try and you'll never look back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Comments: The line guides are solid almost everything about this rod is great, except for the hook keeper ( i know you can buy one, but i just made and order and dont want to make an order just to get a $3 hook keeper) there must have been glue in the hook keeper and this might not be with all rods but i cant put my hooks through it. But besides that the rod is the best jigging $100-$200 rod.

Comments: I purchased the 7'2 MH it feels more like a M. It is not balanced very well but is pretty light. I do really like the smaller eyes I think there is no worries about the inside falling out of them. The back bone isn't the greatest either for MH. Did fish it for a little while with Texas rig. I did like the fact that my hand touched the blank you could feel a lot but it was uncomfortable to me. I fished it a while with a chatter bait and swim jig. it was pretty good with a chatter bait not the best with a 3/8 swim jig.

Comments: 7'2" Med Hvy Worm/Jig is an amazing rod. The rod is light and very well balanced. Its very sensitive allowing you to feel the lightest bites while having the backbone to muscle in big fish. This is my go to Worm/Jig rod. You can cast a mile with it and cant beat the price.

Comments: I ended up with two of the 7'2"MH after the Louisiana Oilmans's tournament. this model is more of a moderate fast than fast making it great for braid and ultra low stretch FC. I found it best suited for casting jigs, worms, and carolina rigs. it is noticeably top heavy without an ultralight reel so keep that in mind. sensitivity is decent. it is a nice rod, but i have others that are much more sensitive in this price point.

Comments: I have the 6'10 crankbait rod paired up with a smoke. it is amazing. I love that combo and I get mad whenever I have to switch to anything else. so comfortable and sensitive. I throw a lot of 1.5's. it casts awesome and even into the wind. I also used it to throw jerkbaits(in a pinch). it performed great, and the handle length was pretty comfortable. I love the kovert and look forward to buying the 7'2 mh.

Comments: I love this rod. I have the 7'2" med heavy and it is perfect for swim jigs and soft plastics. Have it rigged up with a lews speed spool and it's a awesome perfect combo.

Comments: I have a few rods from Denali and let me start by saying I'm very pleased. The Kovert rods are a winner for me. At this price point can't be beat! I love the 7'2" MH for dragging Spiders on football heads for deep smallies. The big flipping stick is "more than just a flipping stick". The tip is fast enough that you can effectively fish mid size swim baits and C Rig all day. Great quality and I will be getting more!

Comments: Have really been impressed with the 6' 10" cranking stick, its one of the few casting rods where I've been able to accurately cast a no.5 shad rap with accuracy and distance. It really loads up nicely on the hookset, and like the mid micro guides. Looking forward to my next Kovert rod.

Comments: I'm gonna chime in on the 7'2" MH. I REALLY dig mine, it casts great with those micro guide eyes on the end. Its not totally tip-heavy, but it is a little. It ain't no Loomis so don't expect that. I had an eye go bad and start cutting my line, and Denali is replacing the whole rod, which is cool. I fished nothing but 14lb mono and worms on this rod, and slapped a Lews Speed Spool on there, super good combo.

Comments: Currently I have three Denali Kovert rods. Ive got the 7'8 and 7'2 casting and 7'2 spinning. Let me start by saying that these rods are utterly amazing and high quality for the price. Ive noticed that they are a little on the heavy side but it doesn't bother me. The semi micro guides give the rod superior castability, accuracy, and overall performance. Another thing that ive realized is that with the skeletal reel seat I am able to feel the slightest bite. Personally my strengths in fishing are flipping and pitching and I have thoroughly enjoyed sticking pigs with these bad boys. They are just simply a great rod and hold up great on hooksets. I would highly recommend these rods to anyone.

Comments: Send me that 6'9 then buddy I would gladly take it off your hands. I have seen Kistlers snap like twigs just because they were dropped on the edge of the boat while landing a fish. I love how people compare one rod to another by a total different company. Why didn't you just by another Kistler in the first place hoss? Koverts are awesome lightweight sensitive and durable. 7'8 is my favorite and it's so much more than a flipping stick! I use it for Carolina rigging, throwing flutter spoons, big worms and football jigs, 10 Xds, and still experimenting.
Comments: Review:The Denali Kovert line is awesome! The 7'8 is my personal favorite. Super light for a flippin stick and can be used for more than one technique. My kind of rod, will be buying more!
From: Andrew: SC
Comments: The Denali Kovert is a very nice Rod. You can tell that Denali really paid attention to what was important. The rod is very sensitive and you can feel everything, that's going on under the water. I use Duckett, Powell, and Kistler rods and while I would not say the Kovert is better, I would say It is a great rod, well worth the Price and Over all, I'm happy with mine.
From: Kevin: LA
Comments: Got the 6"9" spinnerbait rod and it doenst compare to my Kistler KLX. The Denali weighs in at 4.75oz compared to the KLX at 3.5oz. The Denali has a lot more guides compared to the KLX. Will be returning it and getting another KLX instead.
From: Anthony: Bay Area
Comments: Love the Kovert rods.Used the 7'6"Mh cranking rod what a dream to use. With the micro guides you can cast a crankbait a mile.At this price no other crankbait rod compares.
From: Erick: Richmond VA
Comments: I purchased a 7'6" Med Hvy Cranking rod and love it. This rod is super light and will cast a mile. I couldn't believe how sensitive this rod is for such a light rod. I'm looking forward to my next purchase. Thanks!!
From: Jordan: Indianapolis,IN
Comments: awesome line of rods! I've got a 7'6 crank, 7'2 worm&jig, and 7'8 flipping. I am a flipper for the most part and love this flippin stick! Sensitive, light, and very nice looking! I am pleased with all 3 models I purchased and will be buying more!

Comments: I just got the 6'10"med. Kovert 2 weeks ago and have thrown nothing but square bills with it. I am a Kistler man, but this rod I like very much, and it is very reasonably priced. It does a good job on big spots.
