The Denali Noirwood Series Casting Rods are the top-of-the-line rods from Denali Rods. Assembled in America, everything from the tip to the butt is designed with sensitivity in mind. Even the carbon fiber handles and Denali signature Ebony foregrips actually help you feel more bites because they conduct vibrations from the blank, whereas cork and EVA actually desensitize it. The ring lock guides also facilitate greater sensitivity transfer, and also offer superior strength and corrosion resistance.

The Noirwood blanks feature Denali’s highest modulus carbon fiber graphite material and unique technique-specific actions and tapers. The foundation is a high modulus/high strain rate fiber combined with the lightest fiberglass scrim available. Featuring a range lengths and actions specifically suited for bass fishing, Denali also backs the Noirwood Series Casting Rods with a limited lifetime warranty to protect your investment.

Customer Reviews

Comments: I was looking for a ultra sensitive rod for soft plastics and purchased one of the Noirwood series finesse rods. I have used this rod with weights from 1/8 oz to 1/2 oz and it is definitely one of the most sensitive rods I have in my rod locker. The balance is great and the Carbon fiber handle sticks to your hand even when wet. I would recommend this rod to anyone who fishes pressured lakes and needs to feel every single bump and bite.

Comments: Just purchased mine but waiting for my lakes to thaw! I'll have an update once they do. The rod feels great in hand though and is very light. I noticed no imperfections and appears to be built very well. Its light but feels sturdy, just what I was looking for!The carbon fiber handle feels nice and I think will help with feeling the bite. I put my Abu Neos on it and they look like they were made for each other.

Comments: I just got my noirwood and it looks and feels beautifully crafted with a handle that fits my hand perfectly! I'm pairing it up with a Shimano Calcutta TE 201 DC, and I think this will be an awesome combo for my collection of rods! I do regret that the price of this rod is so expensive, because I would have loved to have been able to add more of these sweet rods to my collection.

Comments: Just got my shipment of Denali Rods (Noirwood Series) and they are above and beyond what I expected!!! By far the lightest most sensitive rod I have had in my hand!!! Took em straight to a PA pond on a nice Dec Weekend, even though the water temp was cold and the bites were light, it felt like a freight train on the other end!
