Comments: Have the 704CB and cannot get over how awesome this rod is.... Can throw pointers and cranks a COUNTRY MILE. The action is light enough to really pitch the lure but not so soft that you can't get a good hookset. Overall quality rod. Every Dobyns I own I absolutely love. This one is no exception. A+++

Comments: Bought the 804. Was the only rod I had to use on vacation. When the fish went off the crankbait bite I started throwing weightless senkos. The rod casts light-weight lures a mile and is hyper-sensitive on the longest cast, so you know it'll be good on cranks. Flatout awesome crankbait rod and versatile as well. Time to sell all my Shimanos and (massively) upgrade the rest of the arsenal.
